Decided it was finally time to update semi-sufficiently.
Borrowed Rohan's new guitar and taught myself how to play "House of the Rising Sun" using the internet to find the tab. Went to Computer Fair and splurged- $240 later, I now have a spindle of 90 minute cds, a scanner, a mouse pen and subwoofer speakers. Then I spent most of Saturday evening cleaning the area around the computer desk, including the shelves, to find room to put them all. This is worse than it sounds- it hasn't been cleaned out. EVER. So, for example, we had B: drive floppy disks. We haven't had a B: Drive for many, many years; in fact, I doubt ANY computers have a B: Drive any more except for antiques.
Wait, I lie- we DO have a B: Drive, but it's on our Commodore 64 (which would be about 13-14 years old) and thus can't run said disks.
Anyway, there was a massive build-up of dust, and as I have been unobtrusively sick for about 5 weeks, this made me begin to feel very unwell. Went out to dinner with Mari, Yuka, Victoria and Eri at La Rustica after Yuka's Spring Concert, at 9.30. By that time was rather ill, and the dairy products overcame me- I threw up. ^^;
Became VERY sick during the night, and lost my voice. Throat isn't as sore as it was, but it still hurts and I still have a weird voice. Plus I'm constantly blowing my nose. *sigh* May make Adrian sick out of SPITE. If I have to suffer, why shouldn't he? I'll leave it to a more appropriate time, though. Like after we leave Quirm.
That reminds me, Quirm is incredibly hard to find info on. All I get is stuff about Leonard Da Quirm.
Anyway, today I set up my speakers and my mouse-pen. Haven't got around to the scanner yet; I'm not quite sure where to put it.
Went out to Yum-cha at the Great Wall in Civic for Father's Day lunch. Was very nice. Brother has now gone home.
Feel miserable and sick, and have done nothing on my history oral. *sigh* The RP cheers me up, though.
