Am heartily unimpressed by the vaccination I recieved yesterday. It hurt going in, and now it feels like I've been punched REALLY REALLY FRIGGING HARD. Owie! *pathetic whimper* At least, however, my hands and feet shall not fall off. Oh joy of joys. *rolls eyes*
*pause* Hang on. What day is it? It's February now. Isn't it. GOOD one, self. COMPLETELY forget to use up your January download limit, why don't you? Oh well. I suppose there wasn't really anything I desperately wanted to download. Besides, Rohan already used up half of said limit when he attempted to download the movie Bas Moi during the week he was down here.
So, February, huh? Desk STILL looks like the Apocalypse, school stuff is STILL sadly undealt with, and school itself looms ever closer. It'll be a very bad thing if I don't get the above done by the time school does actually start. ^^;
Sleepover at Mari's on Friday night was fun. Rather a lot of squealing, catching up on things, evil fangirly sniggering at various things... She showed me a Weiss official artbook that she had shown me before, but the thing was, I didn't know the characters then. THIS time, it was filled with me cackling and pointing and saying "Look! True love!"
"What, when Ken's looking at the moon and Omi's looking at a flower?"
*pause* "They're in the dark. And standing right next to each other. Duh it's true love!"
I remember when we reached the end, there was a section about how to draw each of the characters in fine detail, and although Crawford and Schu had already had a page each, they were now on a page together for no apparent reason- none of the other characters had been together in that section.
Mari: *waiting* "Well? Aren't you going to say something?"Me: *smirk* "This is ESPECIALLY proof. I was building up to it. Ahem! AAAAAAW, TWU WUV!"
Both: *snigger*
And dude? Crawford in a batman-style body suit? VERY STRANGE.
Was voluntarily made into a drawing slave for the night, as Mari wished me to draw all the characters from Heavenly Chaos I hadn't drawn for her before, all the characters who needed updating, and all the second versions of the characters who change at some point for some reason or other. That. That was a lot of characters. Er, still is, as am still not even near halfway through.
Have some I've done since getting home. May or may not bother to upload them to the computer. *shrug*
Also, have been having fun giving people some very O_o; moments by telling them about Sukisho seiyuu. It's quite amusing to see the reaction when you say something like "And so Aya is Evil!Sora, therefore evil!schuldich, and they sleep together in their mind..."
Have hit a rock in the Japanese translation. This sentence makes no sense. And what is this, a negative passive auxilary verb? It STILL doesn't make sense! Hate grammar. Bah. Have ended up with something like "If you become aware, hard work was not saved." EH? [...] beans were not saved is also a possible translation. *sweatdrop*
Don't want to clean desk up. Desk is STUPID. *sulk*
On another note entirely, Dad has randomly decided today we will have a roast LUNCH instead of a big dinner. Why? Well, the reason he's given is that it used to be traditional to have Sunday roast, and Nana used to make them for him when he was a child. (I suspect it IS pretty much a religious-people tradition, given that it's a Sunday-thing, even though dad didn't think so when I asked him.)
It still seems strange that he'd just suddenly decide to, though. We've always had big DINNERS on Sunday- big lunches are only on special occassions, like when Ceilidh or Rohan is home, not just when it's the three of us. Suspect that there may be some other reason that prompted him.
Has this got something to do with persuading me to eat lunch? God knows.
Anyway, that's it from me for now.
ETA: Suspicions not confirmed, but very much heightened. "I know how much you like a roast with all the trimmings," dad said. And he got brie. Brie being one of those foods which I will go out of my way to eat.
Hm. Bizarre.
