I'm a bit of a yo-yo these days. Up and down with no discernible reason. And yes, the reason for me being depressed before was just plain stupid. I felt better later. And just a bit earlier I felt somewhat depressed again. But now I feel rather average, so no worries, mate. *grin*
Thanks, Jill. You rock, and we have to catch up on RP. Should Imp and Ade have had a fight or not? Also: would you like the dubious honour of helping beta the first few chapters of the next angel fic? ^^; And Cori? I WILL write you Neverwhere slash for your birthday, and that is a promise.
Also:
Hornblower is such pretty slash. Watched the first episode, FINALLY, thanks to Victoria, and Jack Simpson was so much more freaky than I expected. Why does (...one of. no, several of!) my favourite characters have to die? *mourn*
Have procured Master and Commander- THE BOOK. Da da da! Very gay. Very pretty. Mmmm. Jack is very blond. Love Stephen sogood.
Am translating the Mystic Quest guidebook. Am such a nerd. However, Japanese reading coming quicker now.
Saw PotC DVD, which isn't out in Australia. Saw deleted scenes. Am left with overwhelming feeling of "Why the HELL did they delete those scenes?"
Have to get ready for school. Can't believe shall be last year. Room very messy. Shudder to think of cleaning.
Coast was great. Am not very articulate right now, or very intellectual.
Mari comes back from Japan tomorrow.
Should maybe go to bed now, as am feeling a bit melancholy again. Stupid. Must be the time of night.
I hate long weekends.
Why are they always during holidays?
Should write mage thingum, as have gone to all the bloody trouble of writing chapter plans for the first five chapters, but have lost motivation. Can't be bothered. May as well just sleep. (That is, if I can. I've had bad bouts of insomnia last two nights, and am now exhausted. And you know, you actually don't sleep as well if you're COMPLETELY exhausted- there's such a thing as too tired to sleep.)

First question: I don't know if I can make them. I like happy endings too much. Certainly not for a little while yet - if we can get them past Imp's birthday (which is February 11th, by the way. Decided that a while ago but haven't really made a big deal over the fact yet) without incident I can prolly handle something along argumentative lines.
Second question: Beta-reading? Angel fic? DO YOU EVEN HAVE TO ASK?! Of course I'd like to!

Hm. Maybe not a fight just yet then, although they should probably have one at some point... do you think their "engagement" should be rather on again, off again? Ade's pretty bad about commitment, after all. ^^;
Good god, now have to decide what Ade shall do upon Return.
As regards the latter: W00T! Shall I email it to you? I actually wrote the first... 3, or something, chapters a while ago, but never got around to ever DOING anything. Shall email!

Anyway. I can't guarantee anything particularly coherent or helpful on the beta-ing front, but I do try. Yes, email is good! (Provided it's not a .doc attachment. I don't have Word.)
Is that the thing you had character bios and stuff for up on your website? 'Cause I vaguely remember reading the stuff and thinking 'hey, that sounds cool. now where's the story?' I'd prolly be interested in helping with that, sure.

Excellent. As for the .doc, it IS, but I can probably send as .html or something instead. And yep- that IS that one. It was going to be gen (with really heavy subtext ^^;) but Zack foiled me by kissing a guy in the library. *mourn* He's using this as an excuse to flirt with everybody!

Hey, I'm glad you had to track me down. I like being tracked down. ^^
There is actually some angel sidestory I wrote for fahye's birthday... but it very much contains spoilers for later, which is where it will come in the series, so think carefully before saying you want to see it. *grin* It won't be released to the general public for a long time, I envision.

Tracking people down can be fun, sometimes. I at least remembered your email - when I got to wondering where another friend had wound up I started following links (most of which belonged to a mutual friend). That was very much worthwhile, though.
And I *do* have some patience, so I think I'll wait on the other.
Got the fic. Have read through once - will go through again and pull out the nitpick spots I noticed.
