Am rather spamming LJ, but feel I can be appropriately forgiven because I'm just... making up for lost time. Er. Yeah.

I just thought I'd say two things. One: Look at me! I R cool! I write... stuff!

and two, I would just like to point out my recent observation that writing a sword-fighting scene is just like writing a sex scene, and both are incredibly hard. The finding of the metaphors, and the similes, and the synonyms! The attempt to avoid cliches and really inept discriptions! The complete awe of people who actually can write these scenes! Also, the passion. *waggles eyebrows*

ETA: Oh, and Jill? You have totally won me over to your Tim/Maurice OTP with your pimping skillz.

And forgot to mention:

Did you guys know that corialis has declared it "Pimp Your OTP(s)" week? Well, she DID. And it IS. So go forth! Pimp! Tell us why they're your OTP, and if at all possible- provide us with fic! Remember, this is a brilliant opportunity to convert people to your OTP. *grin*
