Don't even have the grace to do it with style, and live out Eugenie's dream by reading Frodo/Sam until 5 am. (Granted, it's only 1:12 at the moment...)

It's like giving birth to a fully-formed baby in your head, finding out it's missing bits and wanting to keep it but then having to give it away all wrong just the same but wanting it back so badly because you know that you could make it all better!
