DISCWORLD NOIR. And Easter, of course.
Apr. 11th, 2004 05:45 pmEaster is amazingly sucky when chocolate makes you feel sick and the only people around are your immediate family- usually chocolate= *thumbs up* and auntie marie is here too.
Still, I'm sure I'll appreciate the chocolate later, maybe. Besides, my sister gave me earrings instead of chocolate and my mother gave me a new dressing gown and new winter pyjamas in addition to chocolate.
Have been playing Discworld Noir. Main character Lewton, PI, is wonderfully sarcastic and pessimistic. His sense of humour is great. For example, comment he makes when stuck in a dungeon:
"I was beginning to hate [the rat] so much that I started calling him Bill."
Have encountered Vimes, Nobby, Gaspode, Leonard da Quirm, and Detritus so far, out of the canonical characters. Have also discovered maaaaany interesting things about Ankh-Morpork. And the Discworld in general. One of these things being the correct pronunciation of Agatean Empire, and stuff ABOUT said Empire- there's a guy from there called Two Conkers in the game.
Also there's is the Discworld version of Lara Croft. Very funny. *snerk*
Does this entry have a point? Um, not really, no. Though I'm sure I could impart upon people my new Knowledge if they were interested. 'S mostly got to do with geography and place names etc.
