Apr. 13th, 2004 03:18 amCeilidh and I decided to stay home tomorrow and walk the dogs, and such, which suits me fine.
On the games front, am still going strong; have completed the Hundred Acre Wood in KH and have collected all the puppies from all the worlds prior to the one I'm up to. Special ending looking likely! YES! Haven't irrevocably stuffed up my game yet! DOUBLE YES!
Also, the opening to Chrono Trigger PSX is really really cool.
On the writing front, haven't written anything since... Saturday, maybe? And feel like slack lazy toad. Mostly because AM slack lazy toad. However, is hard to get in the mood to write when house so... full. I like solitude. I'm an anti-social writer, I am.
On the reading front, feel like my brains and intellect slip away with each passing second, as I read so much less now than I used to. However, on the flip side, I'm sure I'll spend most of next week reading. Which does somewhat balance. Besides, at least I don't have to contend with the guilt of knowing that I've been reading fanfiction when I could have been reading real literature- I've been doing something else, for once. Still... *guilt*
On the educational front- well, WHAT educational front? Have no topic for my English essay, haven't been reading any of my texts (see above. Also, I think I left the Surgeon Of Crowthorne in my locker. Though mum has a copy, so no major drama), haven't been translating any Japanese, haven't done my maths homework, haven't- well, you get the picture. Haven't done anything, basically. Wheeeeeee, I love holidays.
On the musical front, *cringe* is all I can say. Have been neglecting both piano and guitar shamefully. Just as well I'm not taking lessons and don't have to practice- I can hear the echoes of long ago lectures of piano teachers when one hasn't practiced. Though I guess if I WAS still taking music lessons I would be being bullied into practicing, so.
... Only one of these fronts is going well. BUGGER. Oh well. Can't win 'em all. Besides, writing and eductation tend to be better during the term. [/excuses]
You know, I should REALLY think about going to bed. Huh.
