Mari came over yesterday. She's the first human being who I have socialised with in person since the first Monday of the holidays. ^^ Anyway, we basically lounged around in the armchair in front of the computer and had deep and meaningful discussions about fandom. Well and truly converted her to the shipping of both Suoh/Nokoru and Takeshipon/Kentaroupi. ^^ Then we went back to Mari's for dinner, because Mari is convinced that I need someone to take care of me and make me eat (or so she says; personally I think it was an excuse to keep me longer, hey Mari? *grin* Combination of bother, perhaps) which was good cause I got to eat a real dinner and see sis and Eri again. ^~
And I'm not going to Tahiti for a year. Really. (Don't ask.)
I want a credit card so, SO very much. I need CLAMP Campus Cops Duklyon more than I need to breathe. And it's on Amazon but I can't get it. WAH.
When I do get a credit card, I'm going to be so broke. I mean, I suspect the only reason I'm somewhat rich now is because I'm a hermit wot never goes anywhere. As soon as I can buy things on my computer it will be whims ahoy; Amazon will probably become my new best friend.
I look forward to it with glee. *grin*
Today I feel quite guilty because not only did I violate my bedtime curfew thing, which I have done to some extent the other nights too, I also went back to sleep after answering mum's wakeup call. Which I haven't done the other mornings. *wince* Oh well. I'll have to wake up tomorrow either way.
In my attempt to find pictures for the OTP icon, I have rediscovered how crack-tastic in a not necessarily good way fandom is, particularly fanart and doujinshi. I won't go into the details, but instead I will drop key words like "graphic", "chibisex", "french maid outfit", and "schoolgirl outfit". They aren't connected, except for ALL of them and "graphic". I feel mildly scarred; just as well I'm used to fandom.
Some pairings are very accomodating and have pictures of the couple in question snogging; others are bloody obtuse and won't even turn up in the same picture together, forcing me to photo edit. In fact, some of those were being reluctant to turn up in any pictures at ALL. I mean really, has anyone ever noticed how utterly impossible it is to find a picture of Tseng? Or Reeve? *snort*
Also, OT3s complicate my life. I'm like... but what about poor Zack? And he had to be left out of the icon. And now I'm having a dilemma involving 5x6x13 and any combination thereof and if you're in the fandom that WILL make sense.
I don't want to go back to school tomorrow. I have no frees on Tuesdays.
