In other news, I have discovered that in our house we have a book on Japanese history. YES! *steals and strokes cover* Precioussssssss... Which reminds me, I need to finish reading my Dreamsaga manga. <3

Wanted to go to Sydney next weekend, and mum was talking about sending me up by coach, but dad doesn't want me to. For... some reason he hasn't disclosed yet. *blink* We shall see, I suppose. Bwaha.

Which reminds me- Ali, is that coach time final? Or are we still discussing?

Urge to scream/cry/kick things has faded again. Thank god. I don't like being angry. oo;

In other news, wish I could still speak French. Though I don't regret choosing Japanese. Maybe when I'm older I'll attempt to reteach to myself. I learned it as a child, so should make it somewhat easier. I hope.

Yes, Ji was talking in Franglais because she was RPing Grantaire from Les Mis, and she kept saying things like NON! Je t'aime! Enjolras est mon amour! (or something, I'm going by memory and my grammar is atrocious) to me when I was saying that Enjolras was a biatch, to which I replied "Oui, je t'aime... mo. But tu amour est un... prat." while Ashie was like Oo; SPEAK ENGLISH YOU PSYCHOS. (mo = jap particle for too.)

According to traditional reckoning, the Tenth Emperor Suijin ruled 97-29 BC, and was the first Emperor to build a seperate sanctuary for the worship of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu instead of having the palace function as both palace and shrine. His son, Suinin, sent his daughter to found what is today the Ise shrine, there to keep watch over the mirror, sword and jewels inherited from their ancestress the Sun Goddess.

Earlier it says that in mythology the sword was supposedly one of the eight tails of a serpent slain by Amaterasu's brother Susanowo whilst rescuing a maiden, which he later presented to his sister.

You're welcome! I don't think Arashi would be a descendent of Amaterasu, though, because Priestesses probably don't have to be linear descendents. I'm guessing there might be more on the Ise Shrine later.
