Went shopping this morning for Mother's Day in Tuggeranon (don't care if I spelt it wrong). Saw my old house from when I was 18 months old- I remember the pool, but not much else. Got mum a brooch and a card saying she deserved a medal for putting up with me.
Then we went out for lunch at the Greek Symposium. Twas good. I had a sip of Greek brandy and ate some coffee. The brandy burned my throat, I swear. And yes, I did say ATE coffee. I got the sludge at the bottom- that stuff is REALLY STRONG. I was bouncing off the walls.
After that, we went to the cemetary. Ebony was wrapped in swaddling cloth, and I had to carry her around like a baby. Beware, guys- babies wreck havoc on your back.
Note to self: do not start writing with Brick playing in the background. Results in having to listen to Brick MULTIPLE times and Raphael angst.
I'm not very happy with that bit, anyway. It's too short. And too jumpy and/or plotless. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp.
