That "Last Day of School" update I said I was going to do.

It was a really good day. I thought I'd spend the whole time crying, but I was just too high- everything was filled with sugar and sun and affection. I took Ebony to school, as previously mentioned; almost everyone loved her. She was set upon by crowds of juniors, and was given multiple cuddles. She spent half my English lesson on Mrs Thompson's lap, and the other half- in a wonderful meta twist- on Ebony's lap. She got cuddles from a lot of other teachers, too. The whole day was spent EATING. God, so much food. Carrot cake and choc chip muffins in Maths- I was already full by then, because I'm never hungry in the morning- and then there was cake in final House Meetings which I didn't actually eat, and food in Japanese and a Medieval banquet and chips at Victoire's. I was so STUFFED by the end of the day.

... Mm, gyouza. *fond memories*

Anyway, I got all my friends and quite a few teachers to sign my shirt (while I was wearing it, bwaha), and after school Ashie, Claire, Mari, Saz and I went over to Victoria's and watched Mean Girls, Bandits and part of Troy. First two were really funny, and Troy was filled with pretty eye-candy. Also, SO fun to MST. Got home at sometime just past 10.

It wasn't until just before midnight when was telling my mother about the really lovely speech that I almost started crying, and then when I took my school shirt off and saw all the nice things people had written... I just could not stop CRYING. Which is not to say that it has finally sunk in that I'm leaving school forever. As I have to go back tomorrow for my maths exam and several times again after that, there is good reason.


Was playing Dragon Quest Monsters: Caravan Heart in Japanese yesterday as a concession to studying. It is actually very good study, if mildly stressful. It's because they talk so much in RPGs, and what they're saying is either really important or entirely irrelevent and you just don't know until you've read it. Also, watched Mulan last night when it was on TV. Love that movie. <3

Am now going to do my practice maths test.

ETA: Forgot to mention- there's a new Zelda game out for GBA. Also there is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts (also on GBA) but that's only out in Japanese as of yet.
