Just back from going shopping with my Auntie Marie in Civic. We looked at all the jewellery stores twice and it took us a while, but it was a success: I now have an 18th birthday present, being this sort of Egyptian bronze and blue necklace and dangly earrings to go with them.

Got back, and guess what? Parents are STILL at lunch. *rolls eyes* Just like father. Rang them up to ask how they could still be at lunch and dad was tipsy. Sigh.

Am going out to see Hero with my aunt tonight. Should be good, yay. Even though my eyes hurt. Woe. But I can ignore that.

13th Christmas fic a bit longer than I thought it would be. Not finished yet, but nearly. Hooray!

Now, as it is too fucking hot to concentrate on writing, I am going to go watch more Cowboy Bebop. *melts quietly*

Well, you can scruffle all you like, though it may make your life easier if I'm sitting at the time. *g*

I thought it was really good! I loved the way they changed the colours of the robes depending on which version of the tale it was, especially with the red for the lie and the white for the truth. The cinematography was BRILLIANT, too. You couldn't see the wires at all, and the scenes were all perfection, visually.
