Dec. 1st, 2004 12:21 amWell, now I'm OFFICIALLY graduated. With a shiny certificate and everything. Okay, so it's not actually shiny. You get the point.
Feet hurt, hair is disgustingly sticky (ringlets brushed out, but the hair-setting stuff continues to make itself known), and I'm utterly exhausted, but it was worth it.
Almost killed myself getting to school this morning for the assembly. It was too hot to sleep last night, so I didn't get much sleep. It was a rather nasty trifecta; I was really dizzy walking to school and almost had to stop several times because it was too hot, I was too tired and I hadn't had time for breakfast because I'd slept it and I was too hungry. The three main causes for fainting! XD I survived though, so no harm done.
The assembly was of course mostly boring, but it was better than past years for a variety of reasons- mostly coming down to the fact that I was one of the year twelves and the new hall is airconditioned- and there were some major highlights that more than made up for it, those being Victoria's expression when she got the Legal prize (yay her!), year 12 singing (*points at music* that's going to be a good memory, I swear) and the teachers singing. <3
Then spent some time hanging in the IT Centre with Mari and Annar, wasted as much credit as possible printing my pics off devart in colour, and went home to have fun times stressing over my hair. *g* Turned out okay, though. I think. I hope. *doesn't want to see the photos with her in them anyway* Chapel was a little boring, but I'm glad I went, and the dinner at Parliament house was just wonderful. Everyone looked so gorgeous and adult in their formal clothing! (or most people did. all my friends did, and I won't mention names, except for Courtney because my parents asked who the really tarty one in the orange dress was. XD)
I'm going to miss my teachers so much. *sigh* Talked to Mrs Tregonning a lot, and Heidi-sensei. Mrs Bartley said some really nice things to me, too. Apparently I only just missed out on an academic achievement award and she really wished she could have given it to me.
Drat. Should've tried harder in IT this semester, possibly. ^^;
Too tired to try writing Christmas fics, so I think I may upload a few more chapters of IL on
heavenlychaos.
It's still so hot, at 12.30 am. At least I'm not Ebony, though. She looks like she's suffering from heatstroke or something. oo;
... Oh, and before I forget? THE ROSES they gave us a rose each and mine was deep red it's SO beautiful. *sniff*
