Anyway, GIP! Only not, because I'm going to try and say something aside from that.

So I got my internet back at 12.30 today. It's been out since Saturday- that day being a mixture of good and crap. Saw Ocean's 12: good. Ended up paying $35: bad. Very, very bad.

This is the bit where you get to laugh at how inept I am at existing in society. XD

Basically, I forgot to take my mobile. Okay, there was a payphone near the movies. However, I ended up with 15c left after buying lunch and the movie ticket. Okay, not so great. I milled around Woden for a while like a lost sheep, wondering wtf I should do next, if I had somehow picked up the ability to send psychic vibes to my parents (no, unfortunately), if I magically had more money somewhere (also no), if it was worth hitch-hiking or asking people for change (um, NO), and how far precisely it was to home.

Yes, I did start walking. Shut up. I'd just walked past the first set of traffic lights when it occurred to me in a brilliant flash of light that the was a TAXI RANK, and that I could pay them when I got home.

So the moral of this story is if I had taken 25c more- and I did consider taking extra change but couldn't be bothered- I would have saved almost $15. Oh the irony.

Anyway, when I got home the net was out (BAD) but we did finish constructing my new wonderful computer desk of space and joy and my scanner is no longer perched precariously on top of my computer (good! very good!). I also finished Chrono Cross, which is both bad and good because I discovered I missed one of my favourite characters. Hulk SMASH.

Now I've started on Tales of Symphonia, which is very reminiscent of Tales of Phantasia (good!), and Genis is love. <3

I would write about the bizarre nightmare I had last night involving UAIs, the AST, poodles and poison but I'm too lazy so I won't.

Whichever way, I am now 18. It doesn't really feel like my birthday. It's strange. I definitely don't feel like a legal adult. Oh well.

Eeeeeeeee <3 Thank you! ^^ I was very used to being 17, actually. I felt 17. But there's a big conceptual (and legal) difference between 17 and 18 where there just isn't that difference in REALITY. *g*

I'm looking even more forward to buying alcohol. fahye and I have evil plans lined up for playing drunken drabbles- take a drink, write a drabble, go round the circle, rinse and repeat. See how much stupider and more gramatically incorrect the drabbles get as we get drunker. XD

Also, is it just me or is Genis so much in love with Lloyd that it's practically canon...?

I seriously thought that too, in the beginning of the game. Trust me, there's someone he's more in love with later in the game. Mithos. You'll understand when you get there.
