Christmas and the like
Dec. 26th, 2004 01:14 amCori, are you still around? The computer booted me off, but I'm back now...
Anyway, Christmas. It sucked somewhat. I'm over it; it's not like I wasn't expecting it. The only thing of particular note is my pent-up rage. I have been a lot more placid than I used to be recently, so I'd rather forgotten what rage felt like. Kind of amusing. Only retrospectively, however. At time, it was... well, you know. Rage. Hopefully it won't make it's return tomorrow. Novel as it was, that doesn't mean I WANT to be in full-on hulkSMASH mode.
Aside from that I won't talk about Christmas. I don't want to dwell on it. ^^
Stocking: bracelet-watch, white and silver skirt, white top, black top, scrunchies, bracelet
Parents: two nighties (and that computer desk was birthday combined)
Chas: The Calling II (cd), chocolate
Marie & Judy: trilogy of fantasy books (will have to check title. Betrayal series? maybe?)
Lissa and Lachlan: gorgeous pink & black bag
Webers: Desiderata book, roxy socks
Brother: The Seven Samurai (dvd), 2 rolling stones albums and a radiohead album
Sister: DDR (combined with birthday)
Despite Christmas at large not being the best ever, it was still nice to see family appreciate presents from me to them. And speaking of which, the portion of my day spent with my online brethren was the good part. <3 It particularly makes me happy to know that fic efforts were appreciated. Really.

Date: 2004-12-25 03:33 pm (UTC)I WAS, but stupid wireless network spazzed and I couldn't go into the other room to reboot it because is in dad and stepmom's bedroom. Mean thing. It works now, of course, just before am being dragged out to celebrate something. (Christmas? Wtf, I refuse to believe that a bunch of Jews are getting together to celebrate Christmas, maybe we're all going out for Chinese food earlier than usual.)

Date: 2004-12-26 08:16 am (UTC)That would be strangely ironic, if you were celebrating Christmas.
