tammaiyaPosted Subaru wankfic, which is here. The end of it was written whilst I was drunk, but it doesn't seem to have affected it too badly. I did put a lot effort into making sure everything was spelled correctly, and it APPEARS coherent. *g*
Still have to write that Mirage of Blaze I promised Cori. Why am I so easily persuaded? This is a very good question to which we will never know the answer. Not that I really mind. Cori and I are building the fandom from scratch dammit! ^~
Now, as for what I was trying to say last night (ineptly, I might add) was that I went to town with my brother and hit Kinokuniya. It was in fact the ONLY shop I went to, where my brother went to about 8 in the same time. ^^; I blame the fact that the computers were down and I have little to no ability to navigate the japanese section. With the manga, at least, I've figured out that it's by publisher. This is helpful in that I know where the beboy, shounen (whoever publishes Prince of Tennis, Gundam, Naruto, etc...) and hana to yume sections are, but unhelpful in that I am utterly bewildered by the other sections. Also in that I do not know who most manga are published by. Nevertheless, browsing solved that for the most part.
What it did not solve was the spree of stupid where I decided to browse the book section. I think it is self-evident by the fact I couldn't read all the kanji of the genres that I can't read books, but for some stupid reason I'd decided to buy Mirage of Blaze volume 1. Eheh. Turns out, after me wandering vaguely through the section reading the spines of books for the blaze kanji (*sweatdrop*) that they did not have it in stock, so I ordered it.
Dear me: WHY YOU FOOL.
Oh well, maybe it'll provide incentive or something.
Anyway, purchases were as follows: TB4, Gohou Drug 3, The Mythical Detective Loki 1, The Mythical Detective Loki RAGNOROK 2. And I forgot I didn't have volume 2 of Gohou Drug, so guess who'll be going to town again today? Yes by herself. My sister gave me a key and everything. (Though mum says NO CHINA TOWN BY YOURSELF. CHINA TOWN SEEDY.)
In other news, Yellow volume 4 is LOVE. Even if I can't be buggered scanning it I should still type up a translation, because SQUEE.
