I love and miss you all. I did INTEND to send some emails but I'm running rapidly out of time, so instead, I'll just say: Cori, I've started translating Mirage of Blaze and it is a BAD translation but I have the prologue and half of chapter one (see below for prologue). Mari, I love you and miss you and talked to you already via mobile, so I'll see you in Canberra. Kelsey, I MISS YOU LOTS WAH and haven't written anything since leaving home. *woe* Ji... I'm on AIM to you right now. *g* Fahye, I don't know if you're on MSN but it doesn't work on this computer. >< *cling* And Eugenie... I don't know if you'll see this cause you're not online that often but I miss you so much and I haven't even talked to you since New Years- I hope everything is okay and I'm going to ring you when I'm back in Canberra.

Am sunburnt due to own stupid, WOE! But dolphin-watching cruise worth it. Have watched all of Flame of Recca and started Gravitation. Siblings joining us on Sunday. Despite moments of bored is quite fun. Haven't written anything, but hope to at least work on angels as I emailed it to myself. I won't be online again for quite a while due to price.
So I'd love to say a whole lot more but I have to get off the net in like 3 minutes. Thus, have the prologue of Mirage of Blaze.
Prologue
Tonight, the stray dogs are noisy.
The trees are rustled by the lukewarm evening breeze, and the dim street lights faintly illuminate the night street.
It's late at night; the residential area is asleep. On one corner, there is a small area like a plaza. Within the fence encircling the plaza, there stands a small, faded old shrine, and inside that stands a large stone monument.
There are two human shadows.
"The spiritual grave..."
One of the shadows, a girl with long hair, murmured.
"Is our lord sealed inside here?"
"--------"
The sailor fuku the girl is wearing flutters in the wind. The young man close to her opened his mouth.
"The Kekkai from 400 years ago is still active."
The youth looked around the vicinity.
"I see, this is not associated with a spirit not possessing a body."
"........."
"However, if our strength matches that of three people, a Kekkai of this level should be easy to destroy. When we destroy the Kekkai, the seal on the spirit grave will be undone."
The youth lifted glossy red lips suspiciously.
"The possessee has already been prepared. I will guide our lord after his release. My lady, it will be fine if you just catch up to me afterwards. I ask you to wait."
"---- understood."
The girl slowly turned to look back at the stone monument.
"400 years has passed, and finally we will be reunited. My lord. With these three things, let us undo the seal."
As though feeling a sense of foreboding, the dogs in the area started howling even more and the wind rustled through the trees violently.
The youth glared silently at the stone monument. The girl also keeps her eyes fixed steadily upon it, and focusses her spirit to the centre of her forehead.
The bodies of the two begin to glow with eerie purple light. The atmosphere changes; it's filled with an evil aura. A bizarre feeling coerces the surroundings, and every single living creature falls silent. The base of the monument makes a thick noise. The plaza vibrates as if catching the noisy wind.
With a terrible noise, the stone cracks.

The girl's eyes glittered purple.
The sound of destruction resounded through the Shijima night.
