Me: Omg zonked. *falls over and dies*
University: Hahahahaha PUNK'D.

Wow, I just wrote that. *yawn*

Anyway, it's only 10pm and I am half dead of both sleepiness and physical exhaustion. Campus... so big. Enrolment... so daunting. Text books... so numerous and heavy.

It's not even classes yet and I'm already suffering from sleep deprivation, too. XD

Speaking of text books, OMG WTF. $600 THE FUCK LATER. There are no words to express how glad I am that my parents are buying them for me, because now I really APPRECIATE how lucky I am. o.o Just carrying them was bad.

And I still don't have my Japanese books. *headdesk*

Have my Japanese placement test tomorrow. Have to get up in morning. Woe. Will meet up with Eugenie afterwards, however, which is of the good. <3

Am very excited and my text books are all shiny and stuff (er, except some of the law textbooks which just make me go "oo; eep!") but the downside is, am so tired that all will to do anything has just shrivelled up and died. I'm serious- last night I was thinking, "Okay, I have 29 fics on my fic list and then the fics for [livejournal.com profile] 30_kisses (oh yeah, may have forgotten to mention that am doing Yuuto/Sorata for the aforementioned and the first fic is on [livejournal.com profile] insaneidiot and it is ALL CORI'S FAULT. Well, partially [livejournal.com profile] shadowlynne's, too.) and these are the ones I want to work on" and tonight I have NO CREATIVE IMPULSE WHATSOEVER.

Ugh. It's always like that during term. ;; *kisses bai bai to creativity for the next few months*

Mum thinks I should go to the toga party for Law tomorrow night. To meet people. She added that I must make sure to ALWAYS WATCH MY DRINK. -_-; *wonders if mother thinks she is stupid or something*

Forgot to mention in last post the most terrifying experience in my entire life. At about 1 am back in Shoal Bay, I was watching... um. Gravitation? I think? and this really fat spider crawled out. Let us take a moment to recall that I am arachnophobic. Anyway, the only heavy thing on hand was the remote, so I squished it with that. AND THEN IT LITERALLY EXPLODED WITH HUNDREDS OF BABY SPIDERS.

*cries*

Anyway, I woke my dad up and made him kill them for me. That sucked.

*pause* *scans up* Ah, look at all the caps. This is what happens when I am too tired to be coherent.

Back to the toga party, however. Still haven't decided if I want to go; was considering going to dance or maybe just going home to die.

It's possibly a worry that my first reaction whenever considering doing something for O-week (a week of social events) is "BUT WHAT ABOUT MY SOCIAL LIFE?"

Uh huh. Yeah. The internet is my social life. Feel privileged, guys. XD

Among my text books is the concise oxford dictionary of linguistics. I just thought you all needed to know that. Oh, and that I chose my graduation present, being this hefty tome called "The Book Of Beginnings" which is basically an encyclopaedia of sayings and superstitions and where they originated.

Yeah, baby, I have crossed over into COMPLETE nerd-dom now. ^^;

I am seriously contemplating going to bed. This is just sad. *stares at self, only not, because that is physically impossible* Want to write. Can't. Le sigh. Will go read Flame of Recca instead, which Mari leant me because she is lovely. <3

Speaking of which, slept over at Mari's last night. Was the first time had seen Mari or sis or Eri for 2 months, so am very happy. ^^

Finally:

HAPPPY BIRTHDAY, SIS!

Thaaanks!

WAH. *clings* I might have if dad hadn't been there to wake up. I just hid on the other side of the house until he'd killed them. XD

People keep offering me a social life. Go to this party! Go to that party! and I'm like but I HAVE a social life! go away! ^^;

Ahh, law textbooks, once you have enough of them you can use them as bricks to build a house :P I've found out that half of them I don't use, and the rest I mostly want to NEVER SEE AGAIN by the time I'm finished with them.

*thoughtfully* They're good for hitting people with...

The Torts books might be okay, but Foundations of Law looks like it might be a complete wank course. Complete with a huge stack of "essential" and expensive books. -_-;

If your textbooks cost less than mine (exchange rates = not my strongest point, much like time differences), I am going to be very concerned.

(oh yeah, may have forgotten to mention that am doing Yuuto/Sorata for the aforementioned and the first fic is on [info]insaneidiot and it is ALL CORI'S FAULT.

*shifty eyes*

*cackles*

*runs away*

And your graduation present book thingy sounds *really cool*.

Hm, I don't know. I think my books would maybe be US$500? Approximately. I still have to get the books for my Japanese class. We used to get them out of the book hire back at school for freeeeeeee. >< (Although the school fees made up for that somewhat.)

YOU! *crashtackles* All you! Grrrrrrrr! >(

It IS. It's this huge hefty hardback TOME. <3

O_o Dude. Mine are, like, $900 or so. And I'm not even in uni yet.

:p You know you love me.

Huge books are fun and shiny.

Jesus. Though that would be because you take more classes, being in high school, and I never had to buy my high school texts.

Yeah, yeah. <3

Especially when they have new book smell!

I bought my textbooks just today...but I was lucky enough to have someone to help me carry them, else I would be too tired to move by now.

Anyway, the only heavy thing on hand was the remote, so I squished it with that. AND THEN IT LITERALLY EXPLODED WITH HUNDREDS OF BABY SPIDERS.

Oh dear god, what a horrible thing to happen. Gyaaah. (*shudder shudder shudder*)

Yeah, I second the whole "watch-your-drink" thing. One of my workmate's friends went out on Thursday night, had her drink spiked, then she started throwing up, collapsed, woke up again, and then couldn't stop throwing up constantly till Saturday morning. Apparently she peed a different colour, too. What colour that was still remains a mystery.

... That is so scary. o.o;

I ended up not going because I was too tired anyway, though. XD

I wish I COULD. Mum is making me go to "Welcome To Law" today on pain of not paying my HECS.

And I just missed the bus. >

Good luck @_@

I handed in my form a week ago, but they're still saying I haven't given an option for my HECS payment!!! AHHHH!!! Stupid morons. This is making me freak out since I have to do my first payment by this Friday. AND I've also paid for my Amemnities and Services Fee via BPay, but that's still hasn't been process yet!!! ~.~;;;

*freaks out*

At least I worked out my timetable. I have Fridays FREE!! *joy*

I dragged self out of room to do market day today. I am impressed. Must find out what textbooks I need so I can go meep and decide I can't afford them. Must decide what to enrol in first. Would it be way too stereotypical for a loony to enrol in psychology? Internet social life is much nicer than O-week social events social life.

I was at market day, but didn't see you even though I was looking. ><

Stereotypical? Who caress, psychology is cool.

And my mum threatened to not pay my HECS if I didn't go to "Welcome To Law" today. Augh. >
