(no subject)

I don't understand which lectures and tutorials I'm meant to sign up for in Law. I have to go in early tomorrow to uni just to do administrative stuff like sign up for the law tutorials I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. My timetable probably has clashes. I have to sort this out tonight and I'm TIRED. There's preliminary reading for law I have to do by next week and I haven't got my materials for Asian Studies yet and I might have to change my work shift and the Law faculty is miles from anything and I'm so tired it bears repeating. Plus my mother is pissy at me, both about my work shift and because I missed most of the welcome to law lecture due to missing my bus.

*bursts into tears*

There were upsides to today, involving meeting fellow law students and playing pool with one of them, but I'm too exhausted and panicked to dwell on them. I'm sure I'll be happy again tomorrow, just... yeah.

*sniffle* Thank you. I think I've discovered wtf was going on with the Law lectures, at least- Torts is just contrary and stupid and has 4 hours of lectures for the first two weeks and only 3 hours of lectures after that. o.O; (I also just discovered it wants me to read a whole book as preliminary reading and I don't have the supplementary stuff however. ><)

*giggle* Yes, somewhat. It was the timetable that was upsetting me the most, so at least I've got THAT sorted out. (I discovered that my main problem was that Torts likes to be obscure and unhelpful and change its lecture times 2 weeks into term. And that it had the numbers for the weeks wrong. ><)

Torts is okay, and if you get a good professor, it can actually be fun. My Torts prof liked to draw and would illustrate the case facts with stick figures falling off cliffs or tripping over things :P What other units are you taking?

I'm quite looking forward to Torts, actually. My mum works in that area so I hear a lot about it at home.

Um, this semester, I have Foundations of Australian Law, Introduction to the Study of Language and Spoken Japanese 3. (At least, I THINK Spoken Japanese 3. It depends on how I did on the placement test on Wednesday, but that's the most likely.)
