Feb. 22nd, 2005 02:25 pmI just deleted my entry instead of updating it. ugh.
Basically it comes down to this: 5/6 hours of lectures done. Torts fun. Linguistics fun. Japanese HARD SO HARD THE WHOLE 2 HOUR LECTURE WAS *IN JAPANESE*. (How am I supposed to do a course where I understand only 50-75% of what the lecturer is saying and class participation is worth 30%? We shall see.) Foundations probably boring, I'll find out in half an hour. Tuesdays are devil spawn. I've had 2 hours sleep, thanks to insomnia, and am now in crash mode. Afternoons are deadly when you're sleep deprived. The reading situation in Torts is that they didn't actually expect us to have done the reading by today and they set part of it for tomorrow. Part I have in fact done. Will do the less urgent reading anyway. Also, have reading and a practice question from linguistics and some kanji-filled reading from Japanese. Will never have a life again.
No, I whine too much. Given that this is most of my homework for the week I guess it could be worse. Unless I get more reading from Foundations, simply because that reading is BORING AS. ^^;
Now I'm going to pick up my student card and check out the queer common room place. Look! Being gay gets me special privileges! :D
Oh, also online AIM doesn't seem to work for me. Buggrit.

Date: 2005-02-22 07:24 am (UTC)Don't be down~It's not good!
Maybe you'll learn Japanese quicker if the lectures are in Japanese. Maybe that's what they're aiming for, so you can participate and get your 30 percent! Like this person in Assembly today was talking about how good her German got when she went over there for an exchange:D
Anyway, don't kill yourself! Ok? Ok? Yeah, ok!
PS: read your GORGEOUS fic! shall rant about it later>.-

Date: 2005-02-22 07:52 am (UTC)Yes, I'm hoping I'll learn it out of self-defense much like with the kanji. XD I actually understood more than what I implied in the entry. It was just when she asked questions that I got lost. ^^;
Will definitely try not to die! *grin*
Ooh ooh yay! <3

Date: 2005-02-23 06:42 am (UTC)Yay! You understand...but questions are bad when you don't get it coz during lectures and stuff, you can at least 'pretend' to understand but when they ask you directly it's quite bad...bad experiences...:D
Buut! You won't make a miss like that, I know it ^.^ hehe
