Feb. 27th, 2005 12:32 amFinished the crack version of Tokyo Babylon volume 1. It's over at
insaneidiot; just be thankful I didn't call it The Crackwhore Of Babylon, because at 1 am yesterday that was really tempting. XD
Today I went to the computer fair with my brother (who is in Canberra for the weekend) and blew $150 on a 200gb hard drive in a spree of gross consumerism. Guess who won't be worrying about running out of space any time soon? MWAHAHAHA. If only my internet connection was better.
Also tonight I ditched my japanese to go out to a chinese restaurant with Mari, Saz, Jen, Ashie, Chrissie and Clairie. I'm glad I did, even if now I might not finish my japanese in time. <<;
Speaking of Japanese, it's still too hard. I'm not going to do very well, but I do think I can scrape a pass. It'll be a lot of work, it will be stressful and marks-wise it won't be very rewarding; however second year is too easy, and it's better to be challenged than to cruise. I know it sounds funny, me saying that- I'm such a lazy person- but really, I want to get better at Japanese. Maybe if I do, maybe if I put up with the pass in the class, then I'll be able to cope next semester.
Um, yeah. 12.30 am, and I'm going to try getting speech 1 finished for jap tonight. This will be spectacular. ^^;
ETA: Translating the etiquette of giving speeches is making me bored and tired and practically no one is online. *sighs dramatically*
