Jun. 12th, 2005 01:52 pmOmfg I need to stop eating the chocolate, like, NOW. *guiltily tears self away from it, having already had slightly too much*
The craving was too much. The plus side is that this required me to walk the dog to the shops. <<
Anyhoo, SO fucked for exams. By which I mean credits, but I don't like credits, hence: fucked! It's not even for lack of studying. Well, at least not in Torts. Granted I'm completely relying on lecture notes printed of the internet and the power of my bullshit for Foundations, but shhhhhhh. Anyway, Torts; I'm just plain stuffed. SO. AVERAGE. I have a time shortage problem, a "forgetting to conclude" problem and a slightly more serious problem of NOT SAYING THINGS THAT I ASSUME. *twitch*
Speaking of time, though, as of last Wednesday I am registered with the Disability Support Unit, hurrah. Get special exam conditions, including a special room, rest breaks, food and 20% extra time. Hey, I'm not complaining, here. Though my linguistics lecture will probably last for 4 hours at this rate.
Need to hand in special marking consideration forms, too. Reminder to self.
Last night went out to film group with brother to see crazy weird-but-good Japanese movie about noodles, aka Tampopo. It finished at 10 past midnight. We were left with A CRAZY URGE FOR NOODLES. And so we spent the next hour driving around town in futile search for somewhere that was open and had noodles, or even a supermarket for instant noodles. THERE WAS NOTHING. IT ALL CLOSED AT MIDNIGHT. Canberra is a sad, sad, noodle-less city. If it was Sydney we could have gone to Chinatown. And we didn't even have any instant noodles at home cause mum threw them all out. *woe*
Right now family out at Yum Cha. Could not go, as am meant to be studying for Foundations (hah!). Hate the Constitution so much right now. Oh well. I'm going to Sydney in three weeks, and we'll have Yum Cha in Chinatown. Dad promised. And I can go to Kinokuniya and pick up Tsubasa 9 & 10. Hurrah!

Date: 2005-06-12 07:38 am (UTC)I haven't had that since I was about four. I got lost under the table. My entire family thought I'd been kidnapped and freaked out for an hour. It was very emotionally traumatising, and we've never been since.
But I LOVE that kind of food. *pouts*
Tell you what - when we get together in the hols to watch Firefly and KKM and write crazy things, shall we go yum cha-ing?

Date: 2005-06-12 09:05 am (UTC)Haha, now you know my pain. Craving noodles at crazy hours of the morning when you cannot attain them is very depressing. <<
