Hello again! It's been a while, if you don't count that poll, which totally DOESN'T count because I didn't actually say anything. ^^;

Speaking of which, I conclude that LJers are easily amused by check boxes labelled "ticky box!" XD

Also, as it stands these are the people who are going on the filter. When I make it. If you're on there and you don't want to be, comment; likewise if you're not and you want to be. Wow, I am so sick of the lj user tag. Hee.

In other news, yesterday was somewhat marred by my sudden inability to use even a MICROWAVE, which resulted in smoke, a disgusting smell, charred corn, a broken plate and me almost setting the house on fire/breaking the microwave, and I conclude that I am thoroughly dysfunctional.

On the other hand, I also completely pwn because I have written a first draft of my Lawyers, Justice & Ethics essay, bwah hah! And it is not due until a week from Friday. I decided I needed to start now because I have to spend next weekend studying for my three exams that week. Look! I have finally developed planning skills! ... somewhat.

Granted this first draft is 900 words of 1500, but that missing 600 words is accounted for by bits saying, for example, "(Eddie Marbo's lawyers, blah blah blah, David Hicks's lawyer, human rights lawyers, etc.)" and "(ask mum for those examples again)". I know what goes where, I just need to... do a little more research. <<;

I take it as an encouraging sign that my uni friends scoff at the idea that I was a slackass at school. Er, I think. That or I've snapped and become an irrevocable nerd. Or something.

Back on the dysfuctional side of the scale, though, I haven't had dinner yet. Um. Go me. Not. *headdesk* I AM in the middle of cooking/reheating it, though. I can use the microwave for some things, yay! :D *waves flag, as if this is something to be proud of*

In other news, I have Hughes!insecurity. Writing Hughes makes me feel insecure! "OH GOD," I wail, "I CAN'T SEEM TO GET INTO HIS CHARACTER!" and "OH GOD WHAT IF HE'S OOC" which constantly makes me run off to check characterisation and be no less mystified than I was in the first place. Strangely, this hinders writing speed. That, a lot of uni work, and a detour off into rewriting origific instead have caused a long delay. XD Nevertheless, despite all this the word count is at 8700. I don't really understand my brain.

Hm, 10.20. And the microwave stink is wafting over. Perhaps my spaghetti sauce is ready.

Fullmetal Alchemist! :D And he is LOVE. He is completely insane, has a habit of shoving photos of his daughter in people's faces at every available opportunity, and I heart him madly. Though Roy just beats him for favourite character.

Um...You don't know me yet, 'cause I'm really lazy shy...But I stumbled on your journal while looking for fanfic a while ago, and have since made a point of checking back regularly.

...Not certain how I missed the poll, but could I possibly still be on the filter? 'Gay religious soap opera' sounds like massive good fun.
