*pauses and feels absurdly like Seamus Heaney's Beowulf*
ANYWAY.
You know how sometimes when you're really sick you can't sleep and you think "oh my god these are the most miserable six hours of my life, kill me please"? Yeah. >< No real sleep to speak of, just drifting in and out of some delirious dreams I don't really remember. I was cold under 5 layers and winter pyjamas. But the reason I'm telling you this is not because I crave sympathy-- I feel a little better now. Rather, I'm telling you this as an explanation for why I'm not at uni, and also so the next and more amusing bit of this story will make sense.
At around about 6.30, 7am, I wandered out into the kitchen because the dog wanted to go out. Sat around feeling miserable for a while and decided "sod all this, I NEED to sleep!" so I got some othoxicals.
Mum: "AH NO WHAT TIME DID YOU HAVE THE HAYFEVER PILLS!"
Me: "uuuuuuungh. 1pm yesterday."
Mum: "They're 24 hour! What if they react!"
Me: "... then maybe I'll be dead or in a coma and freed from the pain."
Mum: ".........."
So I DID actually get some sleep. And because I can't be bothered typing it twice:
Kattaiya (11:31:36 AM): I'm making an LJ post about the dream I had about eloping with Draco Malfoy when I was delirius.
KelseyML (11:32:53 AM): That's um.... um.
Kattaiya (11:33:49 AM): Very special!
Kattaiya (11:33:56 AM): I was a bizarre cross between myself and Harry.
Kattaiya (11:35:53 AM): I don't remember it all, what with being sick, but we were in bed together... and then he had to leave, um, I think with his parents, I don't know. And Hermione and I chased after. In the end Draco and Harry/I decided to get married and started looking for furniture together while everyone else was like "o.o".
And I woke up and started laughing, because WHAT?
Kattaiya (11:36:42 AM): I have particularly vivid memories of the furniture bit.
