*horribly depressed*

My computer has for no apparent reason developed a boot-up problem. I have spent over five hours trying to fix it, all for nothing, meaning I cannot access my harddrive. Meaning I can't get to my fic, my music, my manga, my anime, or my games. There is a possibility they are unsalvageable.

Oh, and the 3000 word essay that's due on Friday. Plus references.

Surprisingly, there has as yet been no torrent of tears. Possibly I am in shock. On the other hand, maybe I am just too dispirited to work up the energy.

The god of computers hates me.

I mean... bloody hell!

That's horiffic. I'm scared now. I use .pdfs of journals as reference... aaack! And since it's an essay, you wouldn't've run a backup recently enough to even recover it.

*clings* I don't know what's wrong with it! This makes it doubly frustrating!

Mum and dad are taking it to the computer shop tomorrow, I think. Even if they can't fix my computer I don't care so long as they salvage my stuff. *bites nails*

I was rather counting on you for that, yes. <3 I'm most peeved-- well aside from the essay-- about the one christmas fic I'd started. (Oh, and 13K of CCS!X, but I think Becky might have that.)

I'd only written just over 1000 words and it was nowhere near finished, but STILL.

We sent it to the computer shop, I have it back now. Some little things are wrong with it-- because they plugged in the other harddrive as the one running windows-- like I don't have my email contacts anymore. And there is currently no japanese font on my computer, which I'll have to fix. But mostly it's all okay. ^^
