Not GIP, however, because I haven't updated in forever except about x-mas fics, by which I mean since I went to Sydney and maybe before.

Because it is quicker to reader and more visually appealing, I shall give you honour in hat form a LIST.

• Right before I left for Sydney, I got a letter from the ANU inviting me to do honours for Japanese. Shiny! I mean, I can't DO anything about it until third year, but nevertheless.
  
• I went shopping with my sister on the 23rd and 24th. Met up with Alyssa (cousin) when we were out on the 23rd. Purpose was Christmas shopping. More on that later!
  
• Didn't have too bad a time on Christmas day. Only cried once! ... this is going to take a little elaboration, huh. Again, more on that later? XD
  
• On the evening of Boxing Day, I was getting changed and caught my hand on the ceiling fan when it was going full speed. Bruising, scraping, etc. Luckily did not break anything. Would SO have sued if I'd been hurt badly. >O
  
• Met freeformchick on Tuesday! It was really fun, we wandered around King St, hopped a bus to town and spent a ridiculous amount of time, and in my case money, at Kinokuniya. More on the Kinokuniya haul later! :D
  
• Last night in Sydney, got bitten by SOMETHING while I was trying to sleep. Am allergic to all bugs, accursed creatures, and so without me scratching anything all the bites swelled to the size of red itchy... what's something that size... I know! they're pretty much the exact same size as the disk for a gamecube game!
  
• After a long cartrip home, had to set up the tv, the dvd player, the video player and the transact set-top box in the heat. with the itchy bites that are just below my inner knees bothering me every time I crouched. And dad pulled out all cables so I had to figure out which belonged where. BAH.
  
• And then I had to set up the new computer. Fairstar FORGOT THE NEW MONITOR. Just as well I kept the old one.
  
• Also, I left my discman, my new headphones and most of my CDs at my sister's house in Sydney.
  
• Yesterday kind of sucked.
  
• And I had to continue screwing around with the tv et al TODAY because the Transact box and the video player didn't work.
  
• The video player continues to not play tv channels and thus not be able to record. ARGH.
  
• Yes, I like to whine. in list form!

XXXHOLiC 1-6: I've already read it, but OMFG SUCH CLASSY VOLUMES. They have coloured edging on the pages, a different colour for each volume! *swoon*
Tsubasa 10-11: Again with the having read, but I have the first 9, so I may as well OWN.
Fullmetal Alchemist 1: I could always get scans, but hey.
Loveless 1: ditto!
Tales of Symphonia 1: They made a manga! HOMFG KRATOS IS SO HOT.
Tactics 7: So I'm only halfway through volume 3. Shhhhh. :D



It's just a thing that I will usually get mocked about SOMETHING by the family, especially my siblings, since I was 13. This year it was fairly mild, just about meeting Abby; ooh, NO, meeting internet friends! Rohan compared it to the time I was talking to a paedophile from Queensland when I was 13 (uh, yeah, that was what I got mocked about that year), and my sister was just generally obnoxious. I stormed out of the house crying when she said something smirky about "won't your girlfriend be upset with you meeting chicks you know from the internet?" and mum went all "girlfriend? what girlfriend?"

Ahaha yes. Anyway, Lyssa came out and gave me a hug. and my sister apologised. Aside from that and my brother's continued singing of this song that quotes Silence of the Lambs, that was it for me mocking. Oh, and there was some computer addict comments, but I'm used to those. So it wasn't too bad for Christmas for me. XD;


Anyway, it's SO FUCKING HOT AAAAAH. Everything smells of smoke, the road to the shops is or at least was closed, and three houses in my suburb have burned down. Trust Australian summer. *swelters*
