Did you know there's an offence of "conspiracy to corrupt public morals"? Someone got charged with it in 1962 for publishing contact details of prostitutes called "The Ladies Directory". XDDD
(In England, but it was an old common law offence, so presumably it technically exists-- or existed-- in Australia/America/New Zealand/Canada/etc.)
Yes, I AM doing my Criminal law reading. Still last week's, alas. Picked up my APL textbook today, finally. Will be able to get my kanji dictionary, my Japanese grammar brick and my student diary on Monday.
Also I beat the Hades Cup in KHII but to get enough points to clear the quest list I have to beat it all in one go. Yesterday I got up to round 43 of 50. UGH. UGH.
I picked up new music, too. What seems to be ALL of the Living End and (What's The Story) Morning Glory by Oasis. wheeee.
Um, what else. I'm still sick and couldn't sleep until 6.30 despite going to bed at midnight because my ears are itchy and I keep coughing. However still better than Thursday, which was hell. I skipped my Criminal Law double to go home, and had work in the evening. The phone would NOT stop ringing, there was a stack of photocopying, and it was way busier than most weeks. Murphy's Law in action: if you're sick, and have a sore throat and headache among other things, (plus if you're trying to study for next week's kanji test) you will obviously be much more busy.
I am going to attempt to slog through more law reading to alleviate guilt. I will be back at some point.
