Mar. 25th, 2006 12:49 pmMari came over yesterday, which was nice. We spent forever trying to burn a dvd of music that worked. For some reason data dvds weren't working so I resorted to an mp3 dvd, which obviously won't let you put on any other file format and doesn't play in winamp. It DOES play in windows media, however, and contains 54 and a half hours of music, so I am quite pleased with myself.
More artspam, more origithing, blah blah etc. You have NO IDEA how much time-that-should-have-been-spent-on-uni-work I have wasted on these. Anyhow. I am lazy so I'll just c&p the captions I already added to the galleries.

Four canon incarnations of Michael. The first one is supposed to be early-flashback!Michael, so from around just after he was created (physically/mentally the equivalent of, say, 12); second is later-flashback!Michael, from around the time of the Rebellion, physically/mentally mid-teenish; and the last two are both from the current timeline, before and after a certain point in the plot. By this reasoning the main Michael is the third one, and coincidentally the one I like the least in this drawing because I tried to fix him so many times the paper ripped and I could fix no more. *g* Very sketchy, as I'm sure you can tell, though it still took quite a long time because I'm a slow drawer. I worked very hard to try and restore his masculinity to him, which is a reverse of the usual process of my characters. I think it mostly worked, particularly with the last one. *g* (And compared to previous drawings, definitely the second one too. <<)

The Raph counterpart to the Michael set of pictures. As opposed to Mikey, I was actually trying to make Raph look more FEMININE without actually changing his design at all. XD I think I succeeded, because I just drew him normally and then added the makeup and the dress for the last one and he looks really pretty and not cross-dressy despite having no waist or cleavage. For the win!
Right, the first one: early-flashback!Raphael. I know he LOOKS like 6 but he's supposed to be 10-ish. He's just... small. And childish. It's the clothes and the teddy bear and the expression. *cough* Second is later-flashback!Raphael, Rebellion era, teen-ish, very Daisy Duke in those cut-offs. Eheheh. Third and fourth are both current timeline, third being main Raphael with his sketchbook and a slightly less fluffy hairstyle than when he was teen-ish and fourth being princess!Raphael. His hair looks like it's slightly longer, but that's just because I flattened down the spikes. Costume largely stolen from-- uh, inspired by Belle and Cinderalla from Disney because Disney is what formed my idea of a generic princess dress.
And yes, I know I'm cruel to hime. (<-- LEAVES TYPO FOR HILARITY) :D
In other news, my arm hurts from a diabetes-related bloodtest and my stomach is starting to get really badly bruised from this whole 4 injections a day thing. I don't really hate needles and I'm not scared of them, but I am rather fed up. ~_~
Okay, I SWEAR I will do work between now and the Brumbies match. Really!
