(no subject)

So tired omg. have had about 2 hours sleep in the last 24 hours. *yawn* still need to rewatch potc as only saw the beginning of it last night/this morning before getting caught up in one of those deep and meaningful conversations that always seem to occur at around 4 in the morning. saw potc 2 at the movies today and that was awesome cool.

victoria dropped me home at about 10.30 so I could free poor pooch from the confines of the laundry. finished tales of destiny, but not long after i beat the final boss the doorbell rang and it was jen and mari. ARGH YOUR TIMING SUCKS, i complained, but the boss was fairly easy (seriously, if it had been one of those final bosses you'd, you know, sell your right kidney not to have to fight again i might have been tempted to go NO BEGONE YOU CAN WAIT) so i turned it off. we went to the bakery to buy lunch and took it to the lake with ebony. was nice. then I got dropped off back home with about an hour before victoria picked me back up for the movies. not enough time to beat the boss again/watch the ending so killed time until victoria came to pick me up and we met up with everyone at woden. as above-mentioned, potc 2 v. cool movie. jack/will/elizabeth otp. word to wise: stay til the end, after the credits.

minor incident occurred after I came home. we were getting turkish takeaway from the local shops for dinner, but nobody said what time, and I went back to the business of finishing ToD. I was in the middle of the ending, further than I'd been last time I turned it off, at 7pm when my uncle decided to go get the takeaway then and was like "COME NOW OR I LEAVE WITHOUT YOU". tried to explain that I was finishing the game, no effin' way I went through it a THIRD time, but it's very hard to get across the significance of such things to non-gamers. i mean, when i say "finishing the game" with an rpg it's obviously a much bigger thing than if I'm playing a round of a platformer or something, and if you say "game" most people think of the platformer type. so anyway, he did leave without me even though it finished not that long after, and I had no idea what he was intending to do or buy (since we hadn't talked about it) so I walked down to the shops myself and ordered dinner for myself, plus baclava for each of us. However, I then bumped into Chas, who had ordered for all three of us.

Oh well, that means lunch food for me, I guess.

I hate how I'm always less tired later at night, on a random sidenote. I was ready to keel over about an hour ago and now I'm wide awake. *sigh* How useless.

Happy birthday, Kelsey. the fic will be a little late, I'm sorry; my writing inspiration has been scattered to the winds.


feeling a bit like a failure as a human being right at this moment. don't really want to think about it. maybe i won't feel this bad once i've gotten some sleep.

i'm going to bed.

:O! Well it's not like it's a hardship to rewatch it. It's only a little thing extra, but it's funny, so I do recommend trying to catch it if/when you go see it again. ^^
