Okay, about half an hour ago:

Mum: Get out of bed, you've got to get dressed and organised!
Me: ... bwuh?
Mum: Your dad's come down with gastro again and you're going to stay at your aunt Marie's.
Me: ... fwaaaaargh.

So, uh, yeah. Since I don't want to go to hospital again any more than the rest of my family wants me to (and wouldn't want that bug again even if it DIDN'T lead to hospital), that is what I am doing.

Complications:

Me: I, uh. Was going to do some washing today. I. You know. Have almost no clean clothes? *wince*
Mum: ... YOU MORON. Sort them into a pile and I'll wash some things for you but NEVER AGAIN! >O
Me: *meekly* yes'm.

Me: ... Does Marie have internet? I have an assignment that requires transcribing the pitch of japanese words and I need to listen to them on webct.
Mum: Only dialup. Do it before you go.

So I'm going to be poodle-less and mostly internet free for probably about a week. *sigh* I mean, I'll have internet at uni, but that doesn't let me log onto AIM. Maybe this will actually lead to productivity with uni work.

Maybe pigs will fly.

Anyway, my foot still hurts, and I should go do that assignment. Whooo.
