Aug. 16th, 2006 09:14 pmMany trees have died in order that my international law assignment may live. A lot of ink has been spilled. By which I mean the Geneva Conventions are 143 pages long and even printed duplicate that's ridiculous, especially on top of the 37 pages of the Hamdan decision.
Note to self, before you forget: Abdur associated with Taliban, not al Qaeda. Distinction? Also, Abdur 'openly carrying a Kalashnikov rifle', check the circumstances of Hamdan's capture.
Today my legal theory reading took 3 hours, my travel schedule for the Japanese paper due tomorrow took an hour, the international news report mini-assignment thing took half an hour (and huh, the Madrid Bombings were 2 years ago, I thought they were last year), and I cooked dinner. Still to do: international law tutorial preparation (40 pages of reading plus problem); study for kanji test.
Tomorrow I'm going back home. It's only three streets away and I walked there today to pick some stuff up (and took the dog back with me for about 4 hours) but. I'm kind of regretting the fact.
Oh well.
