tammaiya | Reminder notice

Okay, it IS Tammaiya this time, having recently returned from

_leareth's place. And yes, we WERE productive. I, for example, now have 2600 words on what will probably be my longest Christmas fic and a lot of planning besides.

Amusingly when I checked my email just then I got a pop up calendar message saying "CHRISTMAS AAARGH!", direct quote. I feel pleased, because it's as though I'm vaguely ahead of myself, having started writing the fics BEFORE the annual reminder notice I created earlier this year when I was putting down everyone's birthdays.

Just so you know, if your birthday is within the next two-three months you may want to get your requests in earlier, otherwise you will be looking at not getting them until January. *dignified*

Speaking of Christmas fics, now seems a particularly good time to do a reminder notice on the list of requests.

So anyway, last time I updated was... friday. A short summary of my life since then:

* Finally wrote up notes for the international law lecture I missed in week 2, while in hospital
* Beat 2/6 of the flying course minigames in ToDII
* Went out to dinner Saturday night with a family friend
* Chucked a tantrum at my mother about not wanting to go out tonight (the tantrum was yesterday). Felt terrible about it after and apologised, but it was exactly like being 5 again. I mean, I remember now what it was like to be 5, because I and most adults don't generally feel like that, ie extreme irrationality and no impulse control. Vaguely concerned, but oh well.
* Don't have to go to drinks tonight, because mum rang up and said I had too much uni work. Very grateful. As an expression of this gratitude, should in fact do uni work.
* Crashed Leareth's place last night. We watched Love Actually on tv and planned and wrote fic until 4.30 a.m. Then we got up and wrote fic some more. It was fun. :D
