tammaiyaOkay, so my internet is shaped 24/7 for the next week. Shaped to 70kbps, down from 1gbps, which is so impossibly disgusting that I cannot begin to express how much I am disgusted. It is so slow that it takes me 10 minutes to load any page more complex than google. You think I'm exaggerating, but I'm really not-- I've mostly given up on even trying to use the net at home for now, because it's just so frustrating.
(I'm at work, on that note.)
Actually, speaking of being at work, I got the results back from the blood test I did 8 days ago. Okay, extended version: I asked Dr Stevens how long hormone tests usually take, he suggested I ring ACT Pathology on behalf of the medical centre, and I got them to fax my results over. Hur hur. There are many perks to working at a doctor's office. Anyway, the results.
Slightly high testerone, low progesterone, low-ish oestrogen, high prolactin. Which makes me want to know, if my testerone is high and my progesterone and oestrogen are low, WHY DO MY BREASTS KEEP GROWING.

TMI aside, I've made an appointment for 2.30 on Sunday to see the doctor and will probably get an ultrasound done. It's apparently likely to be PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome).
In other "life sucks" news, the NDS charger I ordered arrived today and I have no idea what it supposedly plugs into, because it's certainly not Australian power points. The box calls it a "universal switching adaptor", which is not what it was called on Ebay. I'm hoping I can find SOMETHING to plug it into, but failing that I'll have to buy another one. *grumpy*
Also, my first exam is in 2 weeks. Sigh.
