At work, v. tired. Linguistics exam this morning went pretty alright; there's nothing I think I MAJORLY fucked up, but yep, still hate Discrete Fourier Transforms. Pretty sure I got that question completely wrong, but it was only worth 4 marks, so HEY.
Which leaves me with 2 exams left: International Law on Wednesday, and Legal Theory the following Monday. ogod, my distinctions, they tremble in fear. *cringe*
Watched this week's House before coming to work. Not spoilerifically, I loved Chase in it. He was just so funny and adorable in the background, commenting on everything. Also, I really liked Cameron this week.
Okay. Christmas fics. I have one finished, and two in various states of completion. Which brings me to REMINDERS! Here is a list of current requests and people who've said they want fic but not what. (If you're still thinking, that's cool, just so long as you haven't forgotten completely.) Also, if you're not ON this list and you want a Christmas/Hannukah/Yule/non-denominational-holiday-of-your-choosing/whatever present fic, I will still take requests. So, you know, don't hesitate to ask.
Undecided: amayonolune, kokusekiryuu, minkhollow, lazulisong.
On a random note, the weather is WEIRD. Cold one moment, hot the next. Today it was really cold in the morning, then it was really hot and humid, and then there was this really short storm with 100km/h winds and it was pouring down in absolute TORRENTS. I walked about 30m from my parent's office to the bus stop with an umbrella (which I was lucky not to have turn inside out) and my jeans and shoes and socks all got soaked. It was really gross.
Finally, I'm very annoyed to realise that I'm going to finish Mirage of Blaze volume 1 well before I can get my hands on volume 2, which I ordered into Kinokuniya. It should come in AFTER I go to Sydney on the 13th, which is very vexing because I'm pretty sure I'll be finished before then and that means I won't see the book until Christmas. Rah. I'm also thinking maybe I should ring up again and get them to order in volume 3 and maybe volume 4 as well; Mari's going to look out for the series in Japan for me, which is a much cheaper option, but she goes late this month and isn't back until February, and I don't know how much I'll read through with how much faster I read now. Hm.
Sod it, I'll order 3-5 too. << Mari, could you look out for 6-15 when you're in Japan instead?
... I should go back to taking notes on the legality of use of force. SIGH.
