It's 6.30 am and I haven't slept at all, yet I'm not tired. I don't know why. I mean, I haven't actually tried to sleep so it's not like I'm whining about this, exactly, and I don't have to get up or do anything, but... still. I've tried to avoid anything past 4am where possible this holidays. And it's now completely light. The birds already did their whole dawn chorus thing. <<

In complete honesty I think the cause may be that I was hypo when I had my night time insulin shot and there were jelly beans in my room so I was too lazy to go out and get more food, which I knew was a bad idea and wouldn't work, but, well, lazy. Low blood sugar wakes you up.

So in honour of the fact that I'm awake anyway and it'll be a little while before I am capable of sleep, I'm going to do that "Five fics I would totally write if I had no shame" meme.

Only, um. With a twist.

Because I DON'T have any shame. I think of these horrifying ideas and go "HAHA THAT'D BE FUNNY" and write it anyway while the people around me go "OH PLEASE, GOD, TELL MY YOU'RE NOT *ACTUALLY* WRITING THE CROSSDRESSING HOOKER FIC."

So this is a meme of "Indeterminate number of fics that I totally wouldn't have written if I had any shame at all! :D :D :D!!!"

You can tell a lot of these are going to be X AUs, can't you.

1. Indisputably heading the list: that fic where Seishirou is a Catholic priest and Subaru is a choirboy! Mm, sacrilicious. (Domine Sancte)

2. ... That fic fusing X into CCS, where Seishirou and Subaru are Fujitaka and Nadeshiko (and therefore, married) and have adopted Fuuma and Kotori. And quasi-adopted Kamui, too. (Card Captor Kotori)

3. That fic where Seishirou kills Subaru and they have bizarre human/ghost sex! (According To Plan)

4. Boyband!X. Every fandom needs one! (All That Glitters)

5. That X highschool AU, see again everyone needs one. Subaru is the teacher, Seishirou is the pupil, Hokuto is Seishirou's twin. (That AU. Um. I mean... Rewriting The Rules)

6. The only non-X fic so far fucked up and/or loony enough to make this list so far: Claudius/Hamlet. I. I don't think I need to say anymore. Kelsey probably still has nightmares. (Distortion)

7. That fic where Takaya gets drunk and crossdresses and acts like a slut to get back at Naoe! (Intoxication)

I think those are all the ones I've written and thought, "I cannot even believe I went there" as opposed to merely silly ideas, of which mine are legion, although there has definitely been serious consideration of mafia!X.

As a bonus, the one idea I can think of off the top of my head that I really DO have too much shame to perpetrate:

8. That Winnie-the-Pooh!X fic where Kelsey and I never decided if Subaru was Pooh and Seishirou was therefore the honey, or if those roles would be fulfilled by Kamui and Fuuma respectively. Sorata is Tigger, Arashi is Rabbit, Aoki is Owl, Karen is Kanga, Yuzu is Roo, Kotori is Piglet, Hokuto is Christopher Robin, and you all hate me now.

Oh, wait, Kamui was Pooh, Fuuma was the honey, Subaru was Eeyore and Seishirou was the Heffalump, allergic to furry woodland creatures e.g. Subaru. *straight face*

You know, it's 7 am , and I still haven't slept. Now that I've brightened all your days with long-lasting trauma scars that no amount of brain bleach will erase, I may try to actually sleep.

Don't feel too bad, some of these actually number among my most popular fics, proving that sometimes having no shame can be a good thing! (Except for Winnie the Pooh. I don't think ANYTHING would save me if I wrote that one. *g*)
