insaneidiot, marking the first thing I've posted in forever, mostly because I had terrible writer's block for a while, I keep getting distracted by the playstation, and when I DO write I've been working on boyband!X, which... is long, and therefore, it takes a lot longer before I have anything to show for it.
I'm getting there. Slowly.
Anyway, speaking of playstation, Okami has eaten my life and I BLAME BECKY because it honestly is all her fault. I started it last Friday and I'm like, 40 hours in. >O Seriously, though, the graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is gorgeous and the gameplay reminds me of my two favourite Zelda games, which is obviously a good thing. Sometimes the semi-archaic Japanese gets a little wearing, but overall I'm glad I decided to play it in Japanese, since... well, it's a game about Japanese mythology. And the kanji alone add a lot of texture to place and people names.
On a side note the partial shipment from Play Asia arrived yesterday and I have four of my Tales of Phantasia character CDs. Heart! I also have Tales of the Tempest, though I'm kind of busy with Okami at the moment.
(Also, I finally, FINALLY managed to procure Tales of Fandom Vol. 1. KIDDY CLESS AND CHESTER AND AMY. I MAY EXPIRE FROM SHEER CUTE. <333333)
Meanwhile, I am tempted to upload thatkawaii_not icon that says, "I am a blank piece of paper. You have a deadline. You are SO SCREWED!" because I am already substantially into my first week of a two week break, I haven't even started on my admin law research essay (due second week back), I still have another skipped corps lecture to listen to, and, um. Next week I have something on every day. *wince* I mean, not like ALL day-- Tuesday and Friday I have driving lessons that only take an hour, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday I have 4-5 hours work each, weekend is at least two, maybe three social things. And I have work tomorrow and the day after, too. Nothing I'd change, exactly, but AHAHA. SO SCREWED.
Especially since when I DO have free time I throw it all gleefully away on Okami. *fails at existence* << ANYWAY. Maybe I should do some law journal hopping now to make myself feel virtuous.
