tammaiyaWell, I'm at uni and I'm killing time waiting for a meeting with a lecturer at 3, SO it is finally time for a somewhat more substantial return to LJ.
Yes, I am finished exams as of this morning. This would be more cause for PAR-TAAAY if I didn't have work tomorrow afternoon, thursday evening and friday afternoon, as well as tutoring wednesday and med appointments friday and saturday morning. ^^; Anyway. That is the official end of semester 1 for me, which is certainly worth something, although to be entirely honest the studying pretty much died out after the law exams.

Perhaps during the semester.
Despite all the procrastination and playing of video games, watching of tv/movies, surfing of the internet and reading of fics, however, I feel surprisingly upbeat about how I did. This does of course mean jack fucking shit until I get the results back because I am total bollucks at estimating how I did on law exams, but at least I feel good NOW. Very important. (sadly this means if I do crash and burn the suffering will be all the more bitter, but whatev.)
The reason I'm hanging around despite my exam finishing around 1-ish is that I, being a quintessential law student, am appealing my law papers. Both of them, for different reasons. I got 6-fucking-8 for both of them, which is JUST under a distinction, and am rather miffed. Already spoke to admin lecturer (he's agreed to look at it again, as he says he may have missed the point I was trying to make), and am speaking to my corps lecturer at 3 (this one is about footnotes, no re-marking involved).
In other news, I am utter shite at parking. Normal parking, that is. I've pretty much got reverse-parallel parking and three-point turns down and I can't right-angle park to save my life 9 times out of 10. This certainly reflects upon me, but I'm not entirely sure what it says. Maybe I'm just the kind of person who overcomplicates everything; I always seem to do better on the hard stuff and sod on the easy stuff.
I've decided to keep this RL post free of game-blogging etc, so I think I'll post this now and start another post RE: video games and possibly Entourage which I have been watching at an insane pace. I may or may not post it, depending on how long it takes.
PS, saw Shrek the Third on the weekend and it was surprisingly funny. Heard it was mediocre compared to the others but thought it was as good as Shrek 2.
