tammaiyaAll the invitations except the ones I'm giving by hand and the ones I still need addresses for (there are 6 of those) have been posted. Feeling pleased with myself about that. Feeling LESS pleased about the fact I have class in just under 9 hours and I still haven't quite finished the oral I have to give tomorrow. Today. Whatever. Only a few sentences toward the end to go, but it is lacking all the careful preparation I used to put into orals back in high school with the palm cards and the practicing and the timing and whatever.
Oh well, good enough. Hopefully. I can't help but wonder if I've spent too much time on the specific case and not enough on the implications of it for biotechnology patents in general, but ce la vie.
On the iPod front, I hate Apple's delivery mob. They came while I was at uni on Tuesday, and when I rang them up, they were like, oh, we can't deliver it again until Thursday. (Note: I WAS HOME TODAY, so if they'd just delivered it on Wednesday, or-- hey!-- rung the number I gave to Apple to organise a time or whatever, I'd have my iPod now.) I have uni again on Thursday, though, so I was like, uh, NO, and they're delivering it on Friday. Sigh. Why couldn't they just have dumped it at the post office down the road and let me sign for it there? Honestly.
Now. It's that time. Actually usually I'd have posted this by late September, but I was feeling apathetic and not like the kind of person who has a lot of writing mojo. I'm still not sure this is not going to be the year I finally throw in the towel, which is why I reserve the right to plead with you to come up with something else and am not making promises about timing.

Except that may actually end up being new years! fics. or Siobhan is going to Japan! fics. Or, uh, some random day that Siobhan finally got her act together and finished writing these! fics. We shall see. Summer session and 21st party, combined with the writing failure that has been me this year, do not inspire me with confidence.
Nevertheless I'll feel bad in my SOUL if I don't at least try, so: hit me with your best shot! (by which I mean, things you actually want to READ, guys. no being mean for the sake of being mean!) If you know I know the canon, feel free to ask about it, with the proviso that I may beg off if I don't like the pairing/the canon is too intimidating to me. <3

If I do a continuation, do you want Yuuko to be on-screen, or just focus on Seishirou and Subaru? Although for memory Seishirou wasn't actually going for a Wish but a social visit, hmm.

Schu/Nagi is probably my least favourite pairing, just because I'm not a huge shouta fan, but I've seen some very well written Schu/Nagi's that I've enjoyed. As for particular Schuldig pairings... well, Schuldig/Farfarello is always good for a nice mind-fuck. And Schuldig/Crawford's a good pairing as well. They compliment each other very well.
So really, it's fair game. Whatever inspires you.
And yes, I still love my 2005 fic (man, I can't believe it's been that long!) The idea of Schu/EVERYONE amuses me endlessly. I think the poor dear might end up a bit exhausted. But well satisfied, I'm sure.
