tammaiya*morose* I'm typing up lists of kanji for my exam on monday, and there are about 1,200 characters that could be on the exam. Obviously only a relatively small selection will ACTUALLY be on the test, and equally obviously I already know probably the majority of those characters-- how to read them, at least-- but I still have to be able to write and read all the compounds JUST IN CASE.
ugh.
Also, IP is failure waiting to happen. stupid IP. and I bought book 14 of Mirage twice because I ordered it second-hand, saw how long it was going to take, was disgusted, and decided to cop the $30 postage for ordering it new and thus express. which means I wasted $12 on the first order. why am I so stupid/impatient? if I'd just done that in the first place, or if I'd just been able to wait... OR HEY, IF I'D ORDERED IT WHEN I STARTED READING BOOK 9 oh hang that was only last week, it would still have taken too long to get here.
whatever, life needs a save/reset option. *sulk* And so far I have only this to say about book 13: "aah no, the dreaded time skip!" "I don't care how great your self-hypnosis skills are, REPRESSION IS NEVER HEALTHY." "... stop encouraging him, guys. especially you, Kotarou. Didn't you hear what I just said about repression?"
