Like, I've finished part vi of boyband!X (over at insaneidiot, which means I'm going to move onto all those christmas fics I PROBABLY should have already started.

Which means I am posting the Christmas fic list here, again, for consolidation. If you're not on it, if you've changed your mind about what you want, or if you already requested something and it's not here, just comment and I'll add it on.

Premise: Imonoyama Nokoru of CLAMP Campus has arranged an exchange with Suou of Ouran High School where several CLAMP Campus students attend Ouran for a month. Story must use all members of the Ouran Host Club, the TB/X cast of appropriate student age (with the logic that various obsessed stalkers will inevitably follow), and any characters necessary from CLAMP Campus Detectives. Option is also open to bring in any other Ouran characters such as other students or CLAMP Campus related characters as you see fit.

Let's see, fandoms that overlap are X, Nana and Heroes. Cool. And you live in Germany, huh? That's awesome. I'd love to go to Europe sometime, although obviously Japan is first on my list! (Next year. FINALLY. I've been studying Japanese for 8 years and I've never been before.)

My sister's an architect. It's a lot of work, I remember when she was at uni she used to pull all nighters making models and I thought she was insane. Do you know what you want to study after you finish in May?

I like to draw too-- I used to do it all the time in high school, more than I wrote, but that kind of reversed itself. I'm not really sure why, sometimes it makes me a little sad that I don't do it so much anymore, but it's so time-consuming and I'm a better writer than I am drawer. Not that I'm a BAD drawer, just, there are better drawers. And I'm more proud of my writing, really.

Ah, yeah, the creative ones never are. My cousin is doing an interview for a course like that in a week or two, actually. Choosing the portfolio is always very important.

Thank you! THe reason I don't draw so much is that... well, I'm a total perfectionist, I get frustrated when it doesn't turn out the way it is in my head. And it takes me ages. Also, I tend not to do so well at doing backgrounds (*lazy*), plus nobody really EXPECTS me to draw the way people expect me to write. With the exception of Mari, people ask me to write things for them, not draw for them. And it's easier to be a perfectionist with writing 'cause there's no smudging and no tearing the paper when you rub out too much. XD Writing's easier. But like I said, I do still like to draw sometimes.

As you have guessed, I found this journal from insaneidiot, and I'm most interested in your fics from the TB/X fandom. I love reading fanfiction and manga (and anime, if it's decent-looking), hunting for pwetty icons, and someday I hope to be able to write. My favorites are mostly works from CLAMP (Tokyo Babylon, X/1999, Gohou Drug, CCS, xxxHolic, Wish, Suki, RG Veda, and etc.)

And I think I'll friend insaneidiot too XD.

I don't know how much of this you've already got from my bio, but: I'm 20 (21 next month), Australian, diabetic, and studying law and japanese at university. I'll be studying at a Japanese university from April next year to February 2009. I like to write (obviously), draw (not as frequently these days, but still sometimes) and play video games. Fandoms are... well, there are a lot, but CLAMP is usually a good bet. Fandoms I'm currently consuming the canon for (rather than writing/reading fic for, since there's a LOT of those, particularly X) are--

Manga: Holic, Tsubasa
Western TV: Heroes, Stargate Atlantis, House, Avatar, NCIS
Japanese novels: Mirage of Blaze
Video games: Tales of Destiny, Heroes of Mana

SO that is the stuff I may post to babble about every now and then. ^^

I forgot to write my own bio XD

I'm 19, Filipino, underweight, but I'm not in any college right now. But I'm currently saving up for school and I will probably pursue either Nursing or Pharmacy. Like I said above, I hope to be able to write someday (and be like you great fanfiction authors! Yes, that's my current ambition right now XD )

I seldom play video games but I like the Final Fantasy series. As for other type of fandoms, I really only delve in manga, I'm so crazy enough over CLAMP works :D.

I also would like to study the Japanese language and everything Japanese that I could. That's why I'm so jealous that you're going to Japan for school BUT I'm also happy to hear that! ;)

I love the Japanese language. I've studied it for 8 years now... although I've really only gotten anything approaching literate/fluent in the past two. I still haven't been to Japan, though, which is one of the reasons I'm so excited about next year.

:D I was just about to fill in the details for the fic. Anyway, because I am indecisive, I'll give more than one option. (My problem here: S/S is my shiny OTP and 'tis great to see loads of X fiction popping up for Christmas fics, but on the other hand you're basically the only Mirage of Blaze writer I ever bother to read.)

Option 1 (Mirage of Blaze): Naoe and Takaya, with a keyword of 'winter'. Fluff, or since that might be difficult for that series, at least something that doesn't have a downer ending.

Option 2 (X): Seishirou and Subaru, in a side story to Card Captor Kotori set when they first adopt Fuuma and Kotori and by extension, Kamui. (Unless that's something you're already planning to include in Card Captor Kotori.)

Aaand if neither of those appeals, something cracky with TRC Subaru and TRC Seishirou would be fun.

Hm, okay. *thoughtfully* I haven't fully planned out CCS!X yet the way I have with Boyband!X (there's a sketch of an outline, I know what the ending is and certain key scenes that have to be included, etc, but not in heaps of detail), but I don't remember having planned a flashback for when they adopted Fuuma and Kotori beyond the thing about Seishirou wanting to call Fuuma Pochi and Kotori Sakura. *g*

I'll think about it, but I'm sure I'll be able to write one or the other!

I have had no luck when it comes to encouraging her. Of course, we're rarely in the same fandoms at the same time.

(Sometimes, though, crackfic AUs are better than canon - I thought the use of "Torn" for Subaru was particularly inspired. And I will never, ever regret doing the Tenipuri Angel/Devil AU because I got to incinerate Ryoma. Not that I dislike Ryoma, it's just he needs to be slapped once or twice.)
