Jan. 2nd, 2008 05:52 pmY HALLO THAR.
I am just posting this to say that: I am at uni! I do not have internet still (although I DO have mum's car right now, fwahaha)! I also have not finished christmas fics because I'm a lazy bum, ahahaha. Anyway, I should get internet back within the next week, which is good because I miss all you guys. The short Christmas fics should all be done by then, or not that much longer, anyway. The long Christmas fics-- being the AUs-- will probably take a leeeeettle longer. I'll try to make them worth the wait, at least.
Hope you all had merry christmases, happy new years, etc etc. Meanwhile I'm playing Odin Sphere and watching J-dramas Becky sent me. I watched both seasons of HanaDan in 2 days, and I'm on the last episode of Nodame Cantabile right now, which just leaves me with Yamada Tarou. I tried to burn my brother's copy of the Doctor Who christmas special when I was in Sydney but the burn failed because someone or something apparently hates me. I did catch up with House, Heroes, NCIS, Avatar and SGA, though. Damn writer's strike! *sob*
Also, I bought myself a flash card for my nintendo DS. It's 2gb and plays DS and GBA roms. It only came this morning before I left for uni so I haven't tried it yet, but I played my cousin's at Christmas and it was AWESOME.
On that note: give me recs, people! Things to download with my shiny new download speed and limit when I get my new internet! TV, anime, manga (esp. but not limited to shoujo and BL), j-drama, ps or ds games, music, have at. I'm not promising I'll definitely watch/read/play/listen/whatever, but I'll keep it in mind! :D

Date: 2008-01-06 05:09 am (UTC)There's also the Kurosagi movie that's coming out soon, but I don't know the exact release date. Oh, and if you've seen Nodame Cantabile, download the special. I watched it last night (I've never seen Nodame lol) and loved it. So now I have to watch the show *definitely needs 25 hours in one day*

Date: 2008-01-12 04:41 am (UTC)I'd actually already started downloading the special not long before this comment, that's so crazy! XD But then I only watched the second half because I fail and got them the wrong way around and was over an hour in before I noticed. I'll have to go back and watch them in order sometime when I've got a lot of free time. Have you started watching the drama yet? It's great. ♥

Date: 2008-01-03 06:48 pm (UTC)And as for recs, may I recommend Naoki Urasawa's works like (though not limited to) Monster, 20th Century Boys, and Pluto? His series have interesting character, insanely complicated plots and mysteries, and are extremely emotional.
