Okay, I didn't think I was that sick, and. I'm still not, exactly. I mean, compared to four weeks ago this is nothing.

But my first class is in three hours, I have three classes (=5.5 hours) today, and I haven't slept. I'm drenched in sweat and my nose isn't blocked but I keep producing mucus and my throat hurts, and it's not unbearably painful but it's still burning a bit, and-- and this is the bit that's really worrying me-- I don't know if/where I can buy sugar-free throat lozenges in this country. Japan really hasn't been so big on the whole sugar-free thing, so far as I can tell so far. If I just had some diflams this wouldn't be so bad, but it takes about a week for things to get here when my parents send them from home (not to mention a lot of money) and I'm kind of hoping the point will be moot by then.

Sigh.

Okay, I'm going to stop whining now and maybe... have a shower or something, I don't know.

...I think I need a zombie death plague icon. *skulks off*

Eeeh, for serious? x__x You don't happen to know if you can buy sugar free throat lollies in Japan, do you?

You can, but their throat lozenges are little more than candy. They don't help one bit. Find a drugstore, you can get the same Vicks stuff you'd normally find overseas.

And yes, absolutely serious. There's not a gaijin I've met that didn't get sick for at least a month after coming to Japan.

Ugh, damn. Maybe I will get my parents to send me some throat lollies, if this is going to last that long. I don't have a blocked nose, so I don't know how much Vicks would help right now... but I might go and get some anyway just to be on the safe side.
