Both for oneself and the flist. XD;
* I think it makes a statement about my fundamental nature that, despite my dorm room being about five minutes from my classroom and not starting class until 10.40 every day except Friday, I still manage to be slightly late or only JUST on time almost all the time. What it says can easily be illustrated by the fact that it's 10.29 and I'm updating LJ.
* Kanji placement test yesterday; was a little paranoid that I'd forget the writings over the summer holiday and be put back in level 902 (I wasn't very worried about readings what with mirage of blaze and all) except now I'm worried I maybe did a little TOO well. Which sounds silly, but if I get into 904 I'll have to buy a new textbook and it'll be more work and I'll have to go back and learn the kanji I don't know from 903. Well, I won't HAVE to, but I'd feel compelled to. Plus I like Takano-sensei, who teaches 903.
On the other hand, 904 WOULD be good for my kanji. Hm.
* Speaking of Mirage of Blaze: one chapter into the final volume. O.o;
* You know, theoretically I have had enough sleep-- like 9 hours-- except this doesn't really work as well when two of those hours happened between 8 and 10 pm and the rest happened several hours later. Stupid body, mathmatically it makes perfect sense! And once I start classes I'm not getting out of this until 6pm. As much as I LIKE my classes (with the sometimes exception of integrated, my first class), kanben shite kure~~~. ~______~
* I approve of the new FOB singles, esp. I Don't Care.
* I've been alternating between Radiant Mythology on PSP and Tales of Innocence on DS. In-depth analysis will have to wait until another time (that reminds me, I've been neglecting the game-blog something fierce) but I thought it bore mentioning.
* On THAT note, I was tempted to buy a pandora's battery-- one highly recommended site had them for US$10 with free international shipping-- but it'll only accept payment from paypal. I can't use paypal as long as I'm in Japan; it won't accept an Australian credit card from a Japanese account, and won't accept a Japanese address from an Australian account. I can't use an ordinary bank card and I don't have a Japanese credit card. There was another site but it had the battery for US$25 plus shipping, and I can't justify that when the dollar is so crappy and my mother is the one currently paying my credit card. Oh well, I'll just have to forget about it for now, I guess. *sigh*
.... OH CRAP GONNA BE LATE FOR CLASS *RUNS*

Date: 2008-11-04 12:42 am (UTC)Just email or Facebook message me your address and I'll ship them up right away. I also have a small favour to ask - I'll ship you an example of one of the pens I absolutely LOVE, and I need a whole stack of them - problem is that you can't find them in Australia and my pens are starting to run out but you should be able to find them at your 生協 ;3; I'll give you some cash as well, but if you could ship me as many as you can buy with said cash along with my battery/memory stick, that would be AWESOME!!!
I love being home, but it feels so empty without uni, to be honest :( I'm missing uni a LOT and want to go back as soon as possible and get my degree done!
Do you have skype? Add me on catherine_ring - it would be GREAT to catch up with you!!! :)

Date: 2008-11-07 02:21 am (UTC)Yeah, holidays are great, but you need to break them up. If I had my way they'd be more spread throughout the year, because I go insane after weeks and weeks of classes and get antsy at the end of months of holidays, so clearly they should be mixed up a bit more.
I use google talk to talk to my family, but I could see about setting skype up?
