Ugh, okay, at the moment? Failing at reality. Well, I'm getting a lot of video games played, I finished Suikoden Tierkreis about a week or so ago and I'm a fair way through FFXII, but the list of other things I'm procrastinating on doing is frightening. This is the first LJ entry I've made in longer than I like to think about, and it's symptomatic of my worsening habit of putting things off-- I have a bunch of emails I need to send, game blogs and fics left half done, not yet booked appointments... I seriously need to make myself just sit down and DO these things.

In other news, my exams finished on Tuesday, and I have the first real holiday without assignments and stress in what feels like forever. YAY. \o/ In other news... well, so much has happened since I last posted that it's hard to comment on anything particular. I've been watching ridiculous amounts of news in the past few weeks and keeping an eye on Iran and, somewhat less by choice, the current goings on of Australian politics. I don't really have anything to say. Oh, except this: why, America, WHY did you have to start calling your scandals -gate? Because obviously if you do it, we have to do it, too. Not that that's anything new, but it's been particularly grating on my nerves this time.

Although, as the Chaser pointed out, having a scandal called "Ute-gate" is so embarrasingly Australian. I swear, that name makes me want to scream. orz

Hehehehe. "Ute-gate." Y'all are funny.

It's such a weird scandal, too :P

Ah well. Good job getting your exams done!

God, I know, it's such a ridiculous waste of time. Although it IS kind of funny watching it blow up in Malcolm Turnbull's (leader of the opposition) face. And making jokes about Goblin Gretch.

HAHAHA. That's hilarious. And also tragic. There weren't any scandals while I was in Japan, so I don't know if they do it too, but in that case I wouldn't be surprised. <<;
