Oct. 20th, 2009 01:14 pmTo everyone who commented on the last post, thank you. ♥ I have a bad habit of forgetting to reply to comments, so I just thought I'd say that here just in case.
Dad's doing a bit better - they actually let him out of hospital on friday. Well, technically he hasn't been discharged; he's in this hospital at home program where a nurse comes by every day to poke him with needles. He won't be back at work for a bit and his tests are still too low, so he's taking very high doses right now. But he's looking a lot better.
Unfortunately the rest of the household has kind of fallen to pieces. Mum has put her back out really badly - it's gradually getting better and she can walk around a bit more now but she still can't sit. I, meanwhile, feel like my uterus is being invaded by tiny, evil-minded little gnomes with pick-axes and steel-capped boots. On the one hand I'm probably happier to be having a period than anybody with no serious worries of pregnancy or whatever, because it's been 9 months and that's not healthy (eventually the only way I induced this one was to go back on the pill), but on the other hand, it has been 9 months, which means it's 9 months worth of AGONY. I've taken painkillers and I still can't stand it. asfjkldsjfklsd
Things I have been doing instead of writing my Japanese history essay include:
* Watching Strawberry Panic
* Reading Across The Nightingale Floor (first book in Tales of Otori)
* Playing Tales of Vesperia and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days
* Reading the second book of The Ring Finger Knows
* Watching The United States of Tara, Ashes to Ashes, NCIS, Gossip Girl & Glee on a weekly basis
I have thoughts on most of these things, but I am currently in far too much pain to share them articulately, so, uh... hold that thought.
