* I have handed in three assignments over the last two days. Jap->Eng final translation, Eng->Jap final translation, last family law assignment. That last one may have been crap, but I am resigned to satisfying myself with a pass in that course (a part of my soul cringes; it will be the first P on my transcript) anyway, so w/e.
* It is just under two weeks until my Star Trek Big Bang is due. Somehow, with finals upon me, I feel inspired to work on it again. Funny, how that works... But heads up, betas, I throw myself on your editing mercy since I still need to finish chapter three and write most of chapter 4. (Note my hurry is entirely related to FINISHING the story and not at all to wordcount, given I already exceed the minimum by over 20,000. INABILITY TO BE CONCISE, THY NAME IS SIOBHAN.)
* What remains: history take-home due Monday, Equity exam in a week, history translations and history essay by the end of the exam period sometime. Plus the arbitration memorandum by the 23rd, although that's a group effort.
* Speaking of history, I have one question left and I'm rereading the relevant text for it. It's a chapter from a Japanese middle school text. To translate,
"(...) in other words, the idea that we should try to understand nature and the world around us relying only on human logic was developed."
Me: ................. this makes us sound like Vulcans. orz
* Still playing many, many video games. It is my coping mechanism for stress. One of these days there will be game blogs, I swear.
* Did you guys know that "Beowulf" is a surname? Best surname ever, or best surname EVER?
