Belated happy new year, all! Expect a slew of year in review memes and actual detailed, photo-filled accounts of the past 3 weeks to come-- I am flying back to Australia in just under two days, where I will go immediately from being very cold to being disgustingly hot! YAY. But more to the point I will go from being busy running all over Tokyo every day to summer holidays, which I expect to spend fruitfully lounging around the house watching all the TV I missed last year (there's a lot of it, because I spent most of the year in a state of permanent uni stress XD;) and playing all those video games I bought at Book Off.

... no, seriously, don't even ask. orz

On the otherhand, I've discovered a previously unconsidered upside to getting a Wii rather than a PS3: they are much smaller. Smaller to tote from Shibuya to Fuchu; smaller to stuff in one's hand luggage for the plane trip; and smaller and thus LIGHTER for hauling around four (4) airports on your back. o/

okay asjdkflsd I'm starving, I'm going to stop babbling nonsense and do a combini run. ONIGIRI! HOW I WILL MISS YOOOOOU.

PS: new years resolutions: write more. get better at keeping in contact and going out and being social. graduating and not killing my GPA in the process. actually deciding what I want to do with my life??? maybe that should have gone first...

Yeah, the computer that had all my IMs in one was down (though apparently it seems to be charging now... fingers crossed 8D), and paper hell means I've basically had only msn opened to get email alerts, and taht one on "super busy do not disturb". And then in my one week of pause I was at my girlfriend's XD (should have opened AIM though. I'm an idiot)
Well it's gonna be really tense until the 15th, I think, but after that it should be better. Actually, depending on how well I work THIS week, I might have more time from the 7th or 8th on. But knowing myself... not that likely.
But yes, by the 15th definitely <3
On the bright side, I've gotten SOME writing done, though not that much. I wrote most of one Hisui/Shing fic in which I forced myself to not work in the OT3 viewpoint (it's pretty hard actually XD), and right now I'm working on a series of drabbles using the basis of the ipod meme: basically when I hit a wall of AUGH in working, I open the file and itunes, put it on random, and write drabbles for the songs that come up. When I get bored, blocked, hit a song I don't like or feel pumped to work again, I stop. I've got seven so far, with viewpoints of different characters, though I REALLY have to force myself to write Kunzite one day... or Innes for that matter o.O I just realized that I write a lot of Innes/Beryl, but always from Beryl's PoV.

Also I "talked" a bit with my dad "as in, by email" and he doesn't seem to be against the idea of me taking a year off if it's possible, so that's a relief. Now I have to work to get THIS year right, and I'll see what I do after that.

yay foreseeable end in sight! having recently been through my own assessment hell I know the feeling. orz

Also, yay writing! I haven't done any in Japan, which I intend to remedy when I get back to Australia. I have a list of stuff a mile long I have to work on, starting with BBX update and Star Trek big bang sequel and those meme fics, and it was a NY resolution and everything. I did do a lot more drawing than usual, though.

it's good that you might be able to take a year off, too. sometimes people just need a break. ♥

RE: Graces, I've only just played the beginning until the first save point, which was mostly enough to decide I liked the OP song and snicker and stamp "HETEROSEXUALITY FAIL" all over the movie. *g* I myself just got the Wii yesterday, having preordered the game...

ToH drama CD! OMG awesome! I don't have it yet... ALTHOUGH, after I got video to work on my ipod I went and got all the Tales OP movies... so uh, clearly I too am a retarded fangirl. ^^;

No, it is probably choudo ii! it's a second hand so that probably means it's easier to hack and I only bought games I really wanted and would've paid for anyway. For pretty reasonable prices. :D

Any firmware is hackable, though it's probably a good thing you bought the games as, knowing your eclectic video game tastes, they probably would have been impossible to download anyway ;)
