Mar. 17th, 2010 12:39 amyou know, there are much more important things I could be doing right now. Things like job applications. Things like uni work. THINGS LIKE SLEEP.
instead I am freaking the fuck out about the fact I can't find the thing that lets you plug memory sticks into the computer. It's not even IMPORTANT! I'm sure you can buy spares and they're probably not that expensive! It's not like I need it right this second! Yet when I'm already stressed this kind of thing drives me over the line into crazy town and I can't focus or relax long enough to do anything else except FREAK OUT. asjkdfljsdklafjaskldfjsdkl!!!!
And the cosmic unfairness of it all is that in searching for it, I instead find two spare micro SD -> normal size SD things and the universal to Japanese converter plug I searched so desperately for in November and caused me such angst and inconvenience and also expense once I got to Japan. O IRONY. Also it was right where I was looking back then, which just makes me want to SMASH THINGS.
Also obnoxious is the realisation that I was wrong when I thought I didn't have volume 3 of FE last time I was in Japan and I now have a spare. I'm sure it only cost me 105 yen and wasn't THAT much extra in terms of luggage weight/inconvenience, but ARGH.
Meanwhile, the only thing more useless than a 1 yen coin in Japan is a 1 yen coin OUT of Japan.
I strongly suspect that I either left the memory stick thing in Japan (not that I definitely remember taking it in the first place, but it's not impossible that I did), or my mother threw it out. ugh.
The really hateful thing is that I'm sure I should have two, because I have two memory sticks. orz
