Almost done

So it seems like I've been on sort of an unofficial, unintentional hiatus while I've been writing on my thesis. ^^; I think I'm going to have to make an actual proper update soon - but not now, beccause I'm tired and still not done. The thesis is due on Monday - I'm nervous, but I think it's going okay, it's in the target zone for word count and my supervisor is pretty happy with it - and then I have an Evidence exam on the 8th of November, and then that's it. I'm done. It occurred to me today, two hours after my lecture finished, that that was my last ever class as an undergraduate law student. It was rather anti-climatic.

(Well, okay, all of this assumes that I don't fail anything, but I do like to work upon that assumption.)

Meanwhile, my second examiner has been decided - an Emeritus Professor who's a former Ombudsman and also, my mum told me, used to lecture her and dad. AHAHA. NO PRESSURE.

Have I mentioned that this thesis is going to make the difference between Honours First Class and 2A? orz

Anyway, back to footnoting. Sigh. MLIA.

At least you can be reassured that the question isn't 'if' you have done well, but 'how well'.

Well, not exactly. You see, you have to get a certain mark on the thesis to get honours at all - if you get below, you still pass the course, but don't get honours. As my supervisor is reasonably happy, I surmise that I shouldn't be in any danger of total screw-up. But I could still get a pretty mediocre mark on the thesis itself, and after all this work, that would kind of really suck. >___< And I'm worried about it again... argh, I wish I had any ability at all to tell for myself whether a law paper is good or crap.

Don't worry and trust your supervisor; they obviously know what they're doing, so your thesis must be fine.
