Have just discovered that the actors who play Sirius and Remus in the upcoming movie have both played gay men in previous films. I believe this will keep me laughing right through tomorrow. Possibly longer.
hey *waves* read MI chapter... can't be bothered to review properly on the site but have a look at the first few paragraphs talking about Met and Gabe. They just seem a bit stilted and childish. And Luce's thoughts at the end are a bit confusing, he makes jumps in logic that the reader isn't privy too and is left scratching their head. Cute chapter, but when are we going to concentrate on Uri and Cass again? This IS a them-centric fic, right? ...and I *AM* beta-ing IL. Slowly.
Hey frar! Thanks for beta-ing IL, by the way. And I keep telling myself I won't update Mere Illusion at odd hours of the night, but it doesn't seem to stop me. I'll have another look at it. Which particular thoughts of Luce were you referring to? It'll help me fix it. As for Cass/Uri centric... urg. *throws hands up in disgust* That's what I thought, too. Apparently I was wrong. There'll definitely be a focus on them at the end, though.
Okay! Beta for IL is DONE but cannot be sent due to poor Dimitri and his lack of Internet. Um... Luce's thoughts. All the stuff to do with warping, the fact that God didn't do it for reasons that WE know but he doesn't... I dunno. It didn't make much sense.
Well... hm. I'm not sure how to fix that, actually. God probably just did it to be a pain, which Lucifer suspects given God's reaction to his question. Lucifer is more annoyed with HIMSELF though, for not thinking of warping both of them. I don't know how to convey that. EH. And you've finished? Cool! And Dimitri's disease is understandable. I can wait. ^ ^
*I* think God subconsciously just wanted Luce to hold him. And sort of JUSTIFIED it by being a pain, We all know he's in denial about his feelings, right? I understand the warping thing now, though I didn't know that Luce could do it for both of them at once.
^ ^; Neither did I- I have an awful habbit of making up plot details on the spot. Heh. Oh well, now both of them can warp another person if in physical contact. Only God can warp to God's rooms, however- he's got wards up cause he doesn't trust Luce as far as he can throw him in that area. And denial does indeed sum it up. There's a long and complicated reason involving his sister's love life as to why God is afraid of love. *sigh* I've changed the line "Why didn't I think of that" to "why didn't I think of warping?" Do you think that'll help?
Gaia gets love?? Or GOT love? Hmm, okay. I'll just sit here and assume things get explained soon. Yes, that change will make it better. ... Quindlemire is no big priority. Review as much as you like but don't feel compelled to finish.
Gaia got love AND gets love, but Lilith won't make her appearance until a while in because I'm sadistic. I'll probably re-write the beginning of the chapter and repost it, then. I did read the first chapter of Quindlemire, but I couldn't find anything I'd change. I suppose all the nit-picky details already got beta-d out by Eujar, huh? ^ ^
actually, nobody has beta-d Quindlemire ever. eugenie makes comments on the reviews page, so it would be good if you did the same. ... even if nothing needs changing. that's nice to hear too! I'll start a proper beta of MI soon but should probably send you the IL one first.
W00t! And yeah, nothing. There was an occasional abuse of commas, but I'm a serial offender in that area, and sometimes there's just no other way to word things.

AHAH! I found it! Ok. Gary Thewlis was in 'Total Eclipse'. I believe he was naked in part of it and apparently kept snogging Leonardo di Caprio. (DON'T ask me) Gary Oldman played a gay playwright who snogs many men in a movie called "Prick up your ears" *evil cackle*
